Have you heard of the growing trend of smoking weed and running? Are you wondering if it works? Have you recently decided that you want to lose weight, but don’t know where to begin? Do you use marijuana? Well, look no further! Join the High Mile Club! Lose weight and smoke at the same time. If you are like me, you want to find a way to make exercising a more enjoyable experience. Studies show that the more you enjoy your workout, the more you will keep going. Thus producing better results. But keeping a healthy mind frame is also important too.
How I Do It
Before I run, I usually use maybe half a joint; I don’t want to get too high. I take about five minutes to stretch everything out. I then listen to my favorite rap tracks while I briskly walk to the track down the street from my house. I always find a rap song that I know word-for-word and rap the entire song. Two miles later and I am drenched with sweat (even during this cold winter) and I am feeling great. The weed gives me a sense of energy before, during, and after a run.

Before implementing my method, running was always the hardest because after a while my legs always felt like puddy.
But something I use to combat this obstacle is the power of music. I rap, no wait, I perform on the track. My eating habits have not really changed a whole lot. But I am also always cautious about what I eat. And to aid in my weight loss, I have been adding more fruit to my diet. But I also still enjoy ice cream late at night after a session. I am going to update you guys on my progress with photos in the coming weeks.
Sure, you can lose weight without weed but if it works, why wouldn’t you? You don’t need music to run with but yet you use music. Weed will essentially enhance your workout. You want to make your workout as pleasant as possible. You also want to challenge yourself.
Also, I want to make it very clear that I was not running multiple miles in a short period of time. It took me a few tries before I was able to run a mile. It’s all about getting there if need be slowly but surely.
Once you run a mile with this method, Congratulations, You are officially a part of ‘The High Mile Club.’
