Do you think you’re smoking too much weed? Or, are you just looking to make your stash last a bit longer? If so, then there are plenty of ways to cut back. While some people don’t believe in setting limits on how much they smoke, others like to do it for multiple reasons. They might be on a tight budget. Or, they may be relying on the herb for all the wrong reasons. If either one sounds like you, then here are 6 tricks to help you discipline your weed usage.
If you’re smoking too much weed, then you can easily make your stash last longer and still get just as high by buying yourself a vaporizer. Unlike other consumption methods, a vaporizer only burns what matters and not all the extra plant material.
2. Leave your stash at home
When you constantly have weed on you, then, of course, you’re going to find a way to smoke it. But you can’t touch what you don’t have now, can you? If you must carry some with you when you’re on-the-go, just roll a single joint or bring enough bud to pack your pipe. That way, you’re limited to how much you can toke.
3. Set daily limits
You know how people prepare lunches for the week ahead of time? Well, you can do the same with weed. If you’re one to buy large quantities, this will work perfectly for you. Just grab a bunch of different stash bags or jars and set aside just enough bud for the day.
Of course, you can’t be greedy when doing this. Remember, your goal is to control how much weed you smoke. Set a reasonable limit and stick to it.
4. Don’t smoke as many blunts
Blunts are wonderful and all. But as you’ve probably noticed, they will eat away your stash in no time. Not only do they use up a lot of weed, but they also stay burning, which can cause you to end up wasting your bud, especially if you’re a storyteller.
Instead of rolling blunts, go for something like a pipe or bong. Basically, anything that you can light when you’re ready for a hit.
5. Stop smoking up your friends
First of all, it’s great to smoke up your friends here and there, especially if they return the favor. But if you find that it’s mostly you who gets them high, then it’s time to stop being so generous. Getting yourself high is expensive enough.
6. Take a T-break
No one really enjoys taking a break from weed. But from time to time, not smoking at all is necessary. After all, you are trying to cut back on how much pot you smoke and how often, which a tolerance break can help you do. When it’s over, it won’t take you nearly as much bud or smoke sessions to get you high as it once did.
