Jennifer Capriati was the top-ranked woman in tennis in October of 2001, achieving a gold medal and 14 career titles. In 1994 she was arrested for marijuana possession.

As you can see, smoking up in sports is not unheard of—in fact it is quite common. This list could go on — it is said that at least 50% of NFL players and 60% of NBA players use cannabis. If this doesn’t disprove the stereotype that stoners are lazy and unsuccessful, we don’t know what would.
