Every marijuana enthusiast knows all they could possibly know about their favorite strain of plant—its color, flavor and high. But what about the seeds? Don’t forget about the little guys that grow that Master Kush. Here are 10 facts about cannabis seeds.

  1. Marijuana seeds are sold in seed banks and cannabis shops, with most businesses stocking around 40 strains of the indica or sativa sub-strain.
  2. Modern genetics has allowed for the control of the seed’s strain and gender, allowing for consumers to know they are getting a quality product they’re already familiar with.
