As of midnight on July 1st, Oregon officially ended cannabis prohibition as they joined Colorado, Washington state, Alaska and Washington D.C. for legalizing the recreational use of cannabis. Oregon will now begin their “legalization experiment” just like the other states and Washington D.C.

Will they reap the same benefits that states such as Colorado are seeing well into their experiment? Our guess is that they will.

Just like the other states, public consumption of cannabis is illegal, but that did not stop Oregon’s cannabis users from having an awesome countdown to midnight and lighting up when the clock struck 12:00am. History has officially been made. Congratulations Oregon, thank you for paving the way for more states to follow suit!
