This one is for all you blunt smokers out there. If you are a consistent blunt user, then you are probably familiar with brands like Swisher Sweets or maybe Optimo if you like some flavour in your blunt. (Optimo Cigars are made by Swisher, betcha didn’t know that). At any rate over the past year, Backwoods has become more and more popular and Chris from GFarma TV is here to fill us in on how to roll one.

Higher quality

Firstly he reminds us that a Backwoods is a 100% all natural tobacco leaf and he goes on to say that in as little as one hit off a Backwoods that you will be able to tell the difference in the quality of the leaf. Namely stating that a Backwoods leaf is of much higher quality than a Swisher Sweets leaf. Now there is nothing to back up that statement other than Chris’ personal opinion, so best to try it out for yourself and see if you agree.

How to roll one

The first thing you will notice is that one end is more tightly wrapped than the other. Start from the tightly wrapped end and slowly unravel the leaf being careful not to break it. Once unrolled you can get rid of any excess tobacco, you find in there. Or you can keep it in there and create a super mild Spliff. Chris notes that you should keep the sharp-looking edge of the leaf to your left and the round end to your right.

Once you have all your weed in there, slowly tuck and roll.  This leaf will require a bit more saliva than you are used to in order to keep it rolled. Seal one end of your Backwoods and if you are particular, then you can smooth out the other end with some scissors if you like a clean edge look to you blunt.

So now you can go out and try a Backwoods and see if you agree with Chris’ opinion on the quality.  Share your opinions with us on social media or in the comments below.
