You can find it pretty much anywhere. It doesn’t give you a hangover. It makes sex even better. It is being found to be an effective medicine for a variety of ailments. How can you bad-mouth something with that kind of reputation? You can’t.
Approximately 6,000 Americans are introduced to marijuana for the first time on a daily basis. At least 42% of the people in the US have tried marijuana at least once in their lifetime based on a national survey. You will probably find more people in that group that have tried marijuana than have dared to smoke a cigarette. That could be due to the simple fact that studies have proven that marijuana is far less harmful to you than alcohol or tobacco.
Money & lives
Why wouldn’t we want to generate an estimated $8.7 billion in federal and state tax revenue every year? Aside from the financial aspect of national legalization, it would help prevent over 800,000 people from being arrested each year for possession and use of the herb. Last year exactly 749,825 people were arrested for violating marijuana-based laws. That sheer fact alone is enough of a reason to grant the nation’s number one wish. Pointless arrests are never financially logical.
