Sometimes, just putting something in your stomach can do wonders. Before you prepare a snack, try drinking some water. If the water fills you up, you’ll be less inclined to chow down on cookies and chips. Also, water is good for you in general, and won’t add on any pounds.

3. Eat before you smoke

You might be confusing the munchies with actual hunger. For this reason, it’s best to have a snack or meal right before you light up. This way, you’ll know for sure if you’re famished, or just have a bad case of the munchies.

Sometimes, all it takes to cure the munchies is to keep your mouth occupied. And what better way to do that than with a piece of gum or a mint? For the most part, both mints and chewing gum are low on calories. Also, they are flavorful and quite enjoyable to chew/suck on while high.
