First came Snoop Dogg’s COOLAID, the rapper’s most recent album that features catchy beats and lots of weed references. Now, Snoop is dropping COOLAID: The Movie, a reflection of his 14th album. On Friday, Snoop debuted the film, which gives fans a glimpse of his life and the pivotal moments that led to his success and helped shape the man he is today. From “Don’t Stop” to “Supercrip,” the movie also includes hits from the COOLAID album and serves as a visual companion to his new music.
Snoop Dogg drops COOLAID: The Movie
During the summer, Snoop Dogg released COOLAID, his 14th album. And now, Snoop has launched COOLAID: The Movie, which takes fans on a journey through the rapper’s life and the crucial moments that led to his success. The movie is also a reflection of the COOLAID album and includes visuals of his new music.
The film takes it back to the very beginning and starts with Snoop’s childhood. Then, it eventually leads to Snoop discussing his dream of becoming a football player. And later, the rapper talks about gang life and his involvement with drugs.
From the start of his music career to his infamous murder trial, COOLAID: The Movie highlights both the highs and lows of Snoop’s road to stardom. Also, how he became the musical icon that he is today.
In a press release, Snoop shared how much the film means to him and what fans can expect from it,
This is a piece that is near and dear to me — it’s a personal journey of my life.
The videos, dialogue and music were hand-selected to depict pivotal moments in my career and look forward to sharing it with my fans. Can’t wait to hear what ya’ll think!

The evolution of the Dogg
Currently in the works is Snoop Dogg’s 15th record, titled Neva Left. According to Snoop, the album will reflect all of the phases of his career,
Throughout the years, I’ve had my hands in a lot of different projects, but music has always remained at my core. This album reflects every phase of me throughout my career.
I’m excited for ya’ll to hear this new project that highlights the evolution of the Dogg.
