While you visit every day, for some, “herb” means, you know, rosemary and thyme. Now, it’s best not to judge, because not everyone is in the know. Still, with that said, it doesn’t mean you can’t laugh at this review on

It’s a herb grinder…

1. a flowering plant whose stem above ground does not become woody.

2. such a plant when valued for its medicinal properties, flavor, scent, or the like.

3. Often, the herbSlang. marijuana.

Yes, one Amazon user wasn’t aware of the multiple meanings that “herb” has, from those plants with medicinal properties – such as rosemary – to, well, that other plant with medicinal properties, which is what brought you to this very website.

The Amazon user, going by the name A. Maddox, ended up buying Ohuhu Tobacco Grinders Herb Grinder from the website. But the user assumed it was for the likes of rosemary and thyme, not weed, which is where the comedy began.

After receiving the grinder, she discovered that it was, in fact, a grinder for the green, not her favorite herbs, which led her to write a hilarious review on the page of the grinder (one that has since been deleted, unfortunately).

The rosemary just fell right through,” she wrote in the one-star review. “I’m sure it works well for nugs, but I actually need a spice grinder and it’s impossible to find now thanks to the weed industry. I wish they would call them something else so I don’t have to sort through 89,679,376 products like this to find an actual spice grinder.

While the review was eventually removed, it was brought to the attention of many, including Metro UK, who screenshot it before it disappeared.

Make no mistake, the user sounds pretty familiar with both kinds of herbs, which must come from having green thumbs. But the user seems to prefer the more traditional – and non-psychoactive – kind of herbs, as the review lays the blame on the fledging weed industry for the difficultly in finding a legit herb grinder for food preparation.

Even though it would be easy to say that the user chose the wrong grinder, the description does mention that it can grind up all kinds of herbs:

This Ohuhu® Herb Grinder is a small, but powerful device with sharp teeth that you can use to grind up herbs, tobacco, marijuana, and other small plant materials. This Ohuhu® Tobacco Spice Grinder is crafted with heavy-duty zinc alloy with a popular color of elegant black.
