Kendall and Kylie Jenner are consistently making headlines. From Kendall’s modeling career to Kylie’s must-have lip kits, these ladies are all anyone can talk about these days. But this week, they have successfully managed to piss off not one, but several folks. After launching a line of vintage tees featuring their faces planted next to those of iconic rap and rock and roll artists, people, including Notorious B.I.G.’s mother, are disgusted. Did they just mess with the wrong momma? Yup.

For the most part, when you hear about the Jenners, it has to do with makeup, modeling, or the rappers they’re dating. But this week, you’re not likely to see anything positive after their latest stunt.

As it turns out, Kendall and Kylie have lit a fire under Notorious B.I.G.’s mother with their new line of t-shirts. And she’s certainly not the only one who is currently slamming the sisters.

In case you haven’t seen them already, the tees feature both Kendall and Kylie’s faces next to those of iconic rap and rock and roll artists. In addition to Notorious B.I.G., the shirts also include Ozzy Osbourne, Tupac, The Doors, and several others.

Once word got around to Wallace, she let Instagram know exactly how she felt about the Jenners involving her son,

In a statement to Billboard, Biggie’s estate said,

While we appreciate that the Jenners have made an apology and pulled the unlawful and unauthorised items, this matter has yet to be resolved.

Earlier, Biggie’s mom Violetta Wallace took to social media to slam the sisters for using the late star’s likeness on their range.

I am not sure who told @kyliejenner and @kendalljenner that they had the right to do this. The disrespect of these girls to not even reach out to me or anyone connected to the estate baffles me.

According to TMZ, Violetta’s lawyer, Julian Petty, sent out a cease-and-desist letter to the Jenners. It stated that if the sisters didn’t remove the shirts exploiting Biggie from their online shop, then they would face a lawsuit.

What do the Jenners have to say for themselves?

Wallace wasn’t the only one to take action. In fact, the Doors’ manager Jeff Jampol also sent out a cease-and-desist letter to Kendall and Kylie with similar demands,

They’re obviously attention-seeking missiles who crave celebrity and being well-known but don’t actually do anything.

It’s the polar opposite of the artists that they’re trampling all over. It’s just spitting in the face and on top of art and message and soul and legacy.

Even Sharon Osbourne, the wife of Ozzy Osbourne, is speaking up. On Thursday, she took to Twitter to hand out some pretty stellar advice to Kendall and Kylie,

Yikes. But can you blame her? It seems as though the messages have gotten through to the Jenners loud and clear, as the tees have officially been removed from their website.

That same Thursday, Kendall and Kylie apologized on Twitter for their act of theft, claiming that the designs weren’t well thought out,

These designs were not well thought out and we deeply apologize to anyone that has been upset and/or offended, especially to the families of the artists. We are huge fans of their music and it was not our intention to disrespect these cultural icons in anyway [sic]. The tee shirts have been pulled from retail and all images have been removed. We will use this as an opportunity to learn from these mistakes and again, we are very sorry.
