We’ve all been there. You’ve enthusiastically made plans in advance and then when the time comes you just cannot be fucked to follow through, and you just want to go home and get high. You only need one reason to drop everything and get elevated. But if you can’t think of one, here are ten that you can choose from.
1. All your friends are doing it
This doesn’t mean you should do it because of peer pressure. But if your buddy invites you to their house to get elevated, you definitely should, as you’re not only helping your friendship but also helping you relax.
2. The health benefits
Are you feeling anxious? Smoke up. Do you have glaucoma? Well, visit your doctor, but also elevate. The health benefits of your favorite herb are well known, too, so don’t feel like you have to explain yourself to any “squares.”
3. The munchies
Of course, you don’t need a reason to eat your favorite snacks, but it is even better when you’re elevated.
4. Stick it to the man
Again, just like the munchies, you don’t need a good reason to smoke. But, if you do need just one, remember that the government doesn’t want you to do so. That’s as good a reason as any to do just that!
5. Laugh it up
Another good way to unwind is to laugh, which is made a whole lot easier when you’re high. So, smoke a bowl and watch your favorite comedy, making for a great end to the day.
6. Netflix and, like, chill
Yeah, of course there is the other kind of Netflix and “chill,” but you can be sure that smoking up is a great way to do the “chill” part.
7. Less drink, more herb
Given its health benefits, it’s safe to say that cannabis is a lot better for you than drinking, which is normally America’s go-to for unwinding at the end of a day.
8. Back to that other chill part…
If you choose the right strain, high sex is definitely a good idea, as is a post-coitus smoke. And, hey, who doesn’t want to get lucky at the end of the day? Let alone, get lucky and high.
9. Don’t sweat the small stuff
No matter how positive you think you are, each day, someone or something will get under your skin. While it’s easy to say that you shouldn’t sweat the small stuff, it never hurts to help let go with a toke or two.
10. Remember, you don’t need a reason
