Associate

Location: Toronto, Los Angeles, Remote

The Associate role is central to the Herb team’s ability to execute on key strategies, and operate at maximum efficiency. A successful candidate will be able to help implement and maintain operational structures that allow the team to reach major objectives with more speed and effectiveness than ever before. This person should be obsessively organized, communicate with precision and clarity, and be able to form positive relationships with the internal team, as well as with current and future brand partners. They will be able to address problems with clear and actionable solutions. They will be able to manage the daily operational needs of the company, while always seeking and executing new ways to make processes more efficient and structured. This role will provide support to the CEO by overseeing key strategies, tracking deliverables, keeping the priorities of the team on track, and maintaining accountability throughout the company’s departments.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Support development of key strategies and new initiatives by implementing the necessary structures and processes.
  • Lead projects that increase efficiency and impact.
  • Manage communications and operations of leadership team.
  • Cash Flow management and reporting.
  • Keep strategic priorities on track, ensuring flawless and efficient execution from start to finish.
  • Develop new structures and processes to streamline execution on key strategies.
  • Create presentations and financial models to initiate strategic execution.
  • Achieve company and personal objectives and key results.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Project Management, or a related field or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6-8 years of experience in team and project management, or relevant experience that demonstrates ability to fulfill stated job requirements.
  • Experience distilling data related to success metrics into clear and concise presentations to inform and drive decisions at the highest level.
  • Strong relationship building and communication skills.
  • Experience crunching numbers, making projections, and reports.
  • Ability to implement long-lasting structures that allow for the smooth operation of the team and execution of key strategies.
