Social Media Manager

This is an opportunity to solve challenging problems that impact new businesses and their consumers as the industry expands. In this role, you will work collaboratively and build iteratively with a multidisciplinary team of designers, product managers, content strategists, and marketers. You’ll help grow our community that helps anyone in the world get cannabis in under 15 minutes while empowering cannabis entrepreneurs.

As a Social Media Manager at Herb, you will:

  • Improve our social experience. You'll own the creation of our day-to-day designs in posts, stories, and all social touchpoints. Lead client projects from start to finish by producing creative for brand amplification and projects.
  • Support our revenue team with performance reports including benchmark trends and audience preferences
  • Designing and implementing social media strategy to align with business goals
  • Create viral email content educating Consumers, Brands, and Retailers
  • Generate, edit, publish and share engaging content daily (e.g. original text, photos, videos and news)
  • Monitor SEO and web traffic metrics
  • Create a content calendar based on branded commitments
  • Ship valuable and high-quality work without cutting corners
  • Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications
  • Collaborate and communicate with multiple teams

For this role, you'll need:

  • Proven work experience as a social media manager
  • Hands on experience in content management
  • Excellent copywriting skills
  • Ability to deliver creative content (text, image and video)
  • Solid knowledge of SEO, keyword research and Google Analytics
  • Knowledge of online marketing channels
  • Familiarity with web design
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Analytical and multitasking skills
  • Passion for solving design challenges while satisfying clients needs and growing our community
  • Proficiency in social media strategy and growth
