So the easiest and fastest way to grind up weed really well is actually in a coffee grinder. This kitchen appliance grinds up weed to precision and also produces huge volumes of quality kief. For this reason, there are many smokers out there using coffee grinders to grind up their weed.
The kind of mistakes you don’t want to make when doing this include accidentally using your weed grinder to make coffee or buying the wrong kind of grinder. There are two options with grinders (both burr and blade models), and both grind up weed a little differently. Blade grinders are usually cheaper and do an okay job, whereas burr grinders produce better results. So we’ve compiled a list for you of the best coffee grinders you can use for the mundane task of grinding up herb!
1. The Kitchen Aid BCG
This blade coffee grinder is the best one when it comes to weed at the most affordable price. At less than $25, there are probably hand grinders out there more expensive than this one. It is perfect for beginners. It is simple, not overloaded with settings (which also makes a difference) and so is really hard to screw up! It can be purchased on Amazon.
2. Cuisinart DBM 8 Supreme Grind Automatic Burr Mill
This grinder is a top of the range burr grinder for those who are looking to specifically make kief. It grinds up the kief to a super fine powder that is mostly unachievable with other grinders.
3. KRUPS F203
This grinder is for those who are looking to buy one and are on a budget. It is small, portable and easy to use. It has quite a large capacity meaning you can grind weed in a smaller amount of time. This is a good all rounder!
4. Nutri Ninja Pro
This one isn’t a coffee grinder but can do all the things a coffee grinder can. There is a razor sharp system of blades in this one, which means it can be tricky to clean and to get all the bits of weed out of, but it does a good job of grinding weed.
5. The Magic Bullet
This machine is a lot like the Ninja and isn’t exactly a coffee grinder. But the blade system in it grinds up weed to a pulp and so it is also really good for making kief.
