It’s a good day to be a Rick and Morty fan. Adult Swim, the production company behind the critically-acclaimed cartoon, officially announced the release of a Rick and Morty soundtrack through a partnership with Seattle-based record label Sub-Pop.

The soundtrack will release on September 28. A special edition vinyl release and cassette are to follow on November 23. The 26-song soundtrack will feature music by Ryan Elder, the composer behind Rick and Morty’s theme song, as well as other songs found throughout the show’s three-season run.

The listed tracks include work from Belly, Chaos Chaos, Mazzy Star, and Blonde Redhead, whose music previously appeared in the cartoon. The soundtrack will also feature new songs from clipping., and Chad Vangaalen.

The soundtrack is currently available for pre-order on iTunes, and will also be available for pre-order at the Adult Swim campground at the annual Comic-Con in San Diego.

Adult Swim’s release will include a limited-edition vinyl for die-hard Rick and Morty fans, featuring a plexiglass cover containing LED lighting and case etching that lights up. The special edition release through Adult Swim also comes with a Rick and Morty poster, patch, sticker, and a limited edition 7” single that includes an extended mix of the screaming sun, which appeared during the finale of season two.

Despite their long history of escapades, this is not the first time that the grandfather and grandson duo found themselves in the musical universe. Kim Kardashian recently commissioned the pair to sing a song for Kanye West’s birthday.

Grammy-nominated rapper Logic also made an animated cameo on the show. Rick and Morty returned the favor by appearing in a commercial for Logic’s most recent album.

Earlier this year, Adult Swim announced that the show would be renewed for another seventy episodes. However, the announcement proved to be too good to be true when the show’s creators followed the announcement by stating that the episodes won’t be released for quite some time.
