As a matter of fact, Beyoncé is the first woman in ten years to be headlining the festival. Not only is she gorgeous, but her music is also phenomenal.
Back in November, rumors began spreading about who will be performing at the 2017 event. However, it is now official that the star will indeed be the main performer at the festival, along with many other musical talents.
In addition to being the first woman to headline Coachella in ten years, Beyoncé is also the first woman of color to headline the world’s most-loved festival. In other words, this is going to be a pretty big deal.
Although Coachella is no stranger to having big stars at their event, like Prince in 2008, none have brought on as much hype as Beyoncé.
Who else will be there?
Beyoncé isn’t the only superstar that you’ll be seeing this year. In fact, there are two additional headliners, which are Kenrick Lamar and Radiohead.
It will be held April 14-16 as well as the following weekend, April 21-23. As for the location, Coachella will take place at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California.
In addition to the event’s three headliners, Coachella will also include other well-known artists including Gucci Mane, DJ Khaled, Travis Scott, Mac Miller, and Future. But that’s not all; there are many many others. You can search the entire lineup here in alphabetical order.
At this very moment, tickets are going on sale at festival’s website. If you’re looking to have fun all weekend long, the weekend passes start at $399.
In 2015, the festival sold over $84 million tickets, which then made Coachella the world’s highest-grossing yearly festival. With this in mind, you’re going to want to snatch those tickets fast if you plan on attending. Time to grab your flower crowns and get ready for an epic event!
