For fans of Pokemon Go, this news could be a great excuse to get started in Nintendo’s realm of portable gaming. Nintendo is creating a special edition 3DS XL to accompany the launch of their newest Pokemon games, titled Sun and Moon. It features the legendary characters in both games with a minimalistic and glossy black colour scheme. Will you be stepping up your Pokemon game with the new 3DS?
The sun and moon ultimate package
Pokemon enthusiasts in the US will be able to get their hands on the custom 3DS on October 28th and fans in the UK will have to wait until November 18th. Pricing of the Sun and Moon device will align with regular 3DS XL’s, at $199.
If you are planning on buying both Sun and Moon, you’ll want to watch out for Nintendo’s package deal. It will come with both games and a bonus 400 Pokeballs to make sure you’ll be able to catch em all! The combo-pack will be available on November 18th.
While some fans have been complaining because the package doesn’t actually have the games, Nintendo appropriately priced the actual device. So if you have already pre-ordered both games, you’ll be happy to know you can pick up the potential collectors edition 3DS for the same as a standard one.
