How Much Does It Cost For A Cannabis-Themed Weeding?
It might not be the classic white wedding imagined by most, but a weed wedding will definitely be a day to no one will ever forget.
If cannabis is something you’ve always dreamt about incorporating into your wedding, look no further than this church. Not only are they becoming the first-ever cannabis-friendly church, but they’re offering special cannabis wedding packages to take the guess work out of planning. It might not be the classic white wedding imagined by most, but it will definitely be a day to no one will ever forget.
New age services
Inside the International Church of Cannabis, the walls and ceiling are adorned with beautiful, bright paintings and artwork, unlike any other church. The Denver-Based church opened its doors on April 20, 2017, offering patrons, who refer to themselves as Elevationists, a different kind of church service.
Not only is the entire congregation cannabis-friendly, but they also use cannabis to elevate their spirituality and praise, encouraging others to do the same. Their mission is to “offer a home to adults everywhere who are looking to create the best version of themselves by way of the sacred plant.”
This happy little community loves to celebrate and worship in their own way, without the restraints of traditional churches holding them back. No one under the age of 21 is permitted during services when cannabis is being burned.
While the church is recognized as a house of worship, it’s important that they still stay within the legal limits when it comes to dealing with cannabis. Since opening, church membership continues to rise in astounding numbers, far more than the creators had anticipated.
Most recently, members and non-members have been questioning if the International Church of Cannabis will be allowed to perform weddings, weed-themed weddings to be exact. With such high demand, the church, of course, obliged and recently announced their wedding services will now include weddings.
International Church of Cannabis will become the first church to ever offer wedding services in an open, cannabis-friendly environment. Lee Molloy, a spokesperson for the church, say the church couldn’t be happier about making its members’ dreams come true.
We thought there would be interest from people wanting to get married at the church, but we never expected such a response. The demand from couples interested in celebrating their wedding with us has been far greater than ever expected. We are truly excited to start turning those dreams into realities.
That reality is likely to bring the church some significant financial gains, too, because a cannabis-wedding won’t come cheap. The “Elevated Wedding Package” starts at $4,200 and offers the bride and groom a “magical space” for up to 200 of their guests.
If those prices are a little too steep for your wedding budget, there’s also an opportunity to win a free ceremony. Interested parties can enter the giveaway by visiting the International Church of Cannabis’ website and signing up. One lucky couple will have the opportunity to be the first wed inside the International Church of Cannabis. The winner will be selected based on their explanation of why they deserve such a high honor.
