The good thing about quarantine was that it not only helped us calm the hell down when navigating through the pandemic by staying safe and isolated, but it also led many to find niche hobbies that helped pass the time.

You can probably guess which hobby helped us get through those days. We probably learned more about the cannabis industry during the pandemic than ever before after searching for the best long-term products and finding strains that will make us laugh after hearing the discouraging number of Covid-19 cases.

We clearly weren’t alone in our canna-covid venture. In 2020, cannabis-related sales reached $20 billion, and this year, they skyrocketed to $26 billion. You can thank our dull quarantine days for the surge in demand for cannabis and related products. Whether it was seasoned marijuana veterans smoking more weed than ever or newbies dabbling in the green to see what the hype is all about, it’s safe to say that quarantine sparked cannabis use, no pun intended. 

There’s something about a new weed smoker that makes our hearts flutter with glee. It’s like passing the torch to continue the tradition from choking on their first toke to seeing their red eyes hang low. In one of the shortest yet most hilarious videos to ever grace the internet, we see a newbie smoker attempt to hide her bong, only for her mother to find it. However, the mother didn’t think it was a bong at all.

The video was posted by several sources, @orale_mrscion on Instagram and New Day on Youtube, but the original source is not mentioned. The video looks like it was initially posted via Snapchat, with black text across the screen that says, “My mom found my sister’s bong and mistook it for a dildo. I don’t know what’s worse.”

In the original snap, viewers can see the pissed-off mother unwrapping a small red bong from what looks to be a plastic Walmart bag. She then glares at the camera and gestures to the bong as if she’s saying, “do you think I don’t know what this is?” Well, mom, clearly not. 

The sister then zooms up on the angry mother’s face and asks, “Where did you find it?” She repeats the question and holds back her laughs while the mother gestures to a wooden nightstand. She then looks back at the camera in a confused and angry way while saying, “Es…es un dildo.” It’s okay, mom; we understand that you might not know the difference between a bong and a dildo, but please, don’t try to find the differences yourself.
