Chicago’s Newest Dispensary Is Steps Away From Wrigley Field

Welcome pros and rookies alike.

A new cannabis dispensary recently opened a few hundred feet away from the iconic Wrigley Field in Chicago. Last week Cresco Labs, a vertically integrated multistate operator and the number one U.S. wholesaler of branded cannabis products, announced that it would be opening its new flagship Sunnyside.

Last week, the dispensary opened with a ceremonial ribbon-cutting alongside elected officials, community leaders, and company executives. Creso Labs’ Sunnyside location is specifically located two blocks south of 3524 N. Clark St., the former site of Chicago’s honored John Barleycorn bar.

Now that Sunnyside Wrigleyville is in one of the busiest entertainment corridors in Chicago, residents and guests from the 50 bars and restaurants nearby are encouraged to stop by and talk to the wellness advisors about their latest products.

The Sunnyside flagship dispensary is 10,000 sq. ft. and has up to 5,500 sq. ft. in retail space to give customers an enhanced experience for wellness advisors and staff to make proper recommendations to consumers and medical patients.

Sunnyside initially opened as a medical dispensary at its previous location roughly five years ago, but the dispensary has recently switched to operating as a dual-purpose dispensary since Illinois allowed legal adult-use cannabis in January 2020.

However, the new location by Wrigley Field will continue prioritizing medical cannabis patients with dedicated points of sale and a quick express entry. The new Sunnyside Wrigleyville holds a wide variety of premium products from the renowned Cresco Labs and its house of brands alongside other leading cannabis brands.

Products available for sale at the Sunnyside Wrigleyville dispensary include flowers, vapes, edibles, pre-rolls, concentrates, topicals, captures, tinctures, beverages, accessories, and branded merchandise.

The new dispensary also allows both medical patients and adult-use consumers to place orders in three different ways: through the Sunnyside website, in-store with a wellness advisor, or by calling 773-820-7280. Store hours are Sunday to Saturday from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM.

But what happened to the initial Sunnyside location in Lakeview? The prior location will impressively be redeveloped as the Illinois Cannabis Education Center. The center will be a hands-on destination for those who have been wrongfully impacted by the War on Drugs, which will help individuals develop the necessary skills to operate a thriving and successful dispensary.

For the new Sunnyside Wrigleyville dispensary up and running in Illinois, the company hopes to cater to the thousands of people who visit the high-traffic area.
