Big Island Grown endeavored to build the best cannabis cultivation facility in the nation on the Hamakua Coast of the Big Island in 2016 upon being awarded one of eight licenses by the Hawaii Department of Health.

Our 35,000 sq foot production facility was completed in 2018 and sits on the lower slopes of Mauna Kea nestled between the mountain and the sea.  Using natural resources available, Big Island Grown adopts environmentally sustainable business practices including use of hydroelectric to power our production facility.  Our goal is to use 100% green energy. 

We are now open for business in Hilo with our Waimea & Kona locations opening very soon!
