Kalen’s inspiration to build tentree came back in 2011 when he saw that most young people were embracing and supporting socially responsible clothing companies, so he decided to create one. A year later, he founded tentree. The company’s main goal ever since the day of its foundation is to help the environment, that’s why Kalen and his partners at tentree do not measure success by sales, but by how many trees they have planted. Today, tentree continues with this goal and hopes to have planted one billion trees by 2030. This episode features an insightful conversation with the man who created a successful business to fulfill a mission and help our planet.
