Want to know what’s better than Candy Land? Burgerland! Though it doesn’t come in board game form, it’s still totally playable. The world’s favorite burger restaurant-owning family will be kicking off their seventh season on FOX on September 25th. Currently, the Bob’s Burgers cast is preparing for the San Diego Comic-Con that will be taking over Southern California this week. Fox hands out limited edition posters every year, but this one is about to outshine them all. Warning: this poster will make you wish you lived in Burgerland.
Burgerland is a food-filled journey with delicious destinations
Last year, the limited edition poster “The Little Known Unconfirmed History of the Burger” included Teddy and the Belcher family dressed up as well-known historical figures. However, it’s about to get much more tasty this year. The latest Bob’s Burgers poster wants you to embark on a food-filled journey with delicious destinations in the kingdom of Burgerland.
The poster features delectable places for all to enjoy, from Pickleton to Cheeseissippi. In Cheeseissippi, you can have yourself a lazy day and float down the famous ooey-gooey cheddar cheese river. Maybe you want to go somewhere a little more developed like Baconopolis, because who doesn’t love bacon? Then there’s Beefachusetts, the state where burgers are pronounced bur-gahs. Are you hungry yet?
Burgerland may not be a board game, but that doesn’t mean you can’t get creative with it! If you’re lucky enough to get your hands on this poster, let out your inner Linda Belcher and create your own game. Mustard and Ketchup packets would make the perfect game pieces. Gather your friends together, and some good herb of course, and let your imagination run wild.
Don’t miss out
Being that the poster is limited edition, there’s obviously a limited supply available from Fox at the convention. On Friday, July 22 from 4-5 p.m., the official Bob’s Burgers Comic-Con panel will be held at the Hilton Bayfront Indigo Ballroom. All six principal cast members and even the executive producers Loren Bouchard and Jim Dauterive will be attending.
Even if the burger-themed poster doesn’t tickle your fancy, you still need to be at the San Diego Comic-Con. There will be celebrities, studios, and of course thousands of fans that are all meeting for one purpose: comic-filled fun! It’s a special time to celebrate all things related to comic books, genre fiction, and some of the best movies and TV shows of the decade.
Not only that, it gives you a sneak-peek of what’s to come.
Though some major studios are sitting this convention out, Warner Bros. and Marvel will not disappoint. Fans will get a glimpse of movies including Wonder Woman and Doctor Strange. On top of that, it’s Star Trek’s 50th anniversary, meaning tons of news on the new film and next year’s CBS series is to be expected. If you don’t want to miss out but cannot attend, you can stream online here.
