Love it so far!
I bought this as a backup/travel vape. I wanted something that works reliably, has a good battery, and is relatively inexpensive. This exceeded my expectations! Highlights: * FAST heat up. I vaped at 385* F, and it was ready in seconds. I have a Mighty Plus, a Lookah, a Dynavap M Plus (w/ torch), and a few other cheap units. This is the fastest by far, and vapor is available almost instantly after temp is reached. * Good vapor production and taste. The silicone covers for the mouthpiece help it taste cooler. * Feels well made. It fits the hand nicely and feels like a premium product. * The only concern I have is potential clogs after a few bowls. Everything came apart easily for cleaning, but the plastic filter in the lid seems like it might get clogged with herbs. Overall, this is a steal for $100. Performance so far is just a notch below the Mighty Plus for me, but it's substantially smaller and a fraction of the cost. 11/10 for what I wanted!

Usable. Good roasted flavor. Looks sexy
First i must say that this vape produces a thick nutty roasted tasting vapor (not burnt), compared to V3 PRO, (which i love) but the taste is different.. Bought it on discount as a backup + another battery, the vape has some issues I found ways to work around. I always use the dosing capsule - a sure way of keeping everything clean, the issue is that its not adjacent to the mouthpiece, making the air go around the capsule. To solve this I used two oven meshes in an arch, it protects the insides, still breathes and creates structure for the capsule to sit on and be closer to the mouthpiece thereof sealing the airpath. The mouthpiece does get really hot even on moderate temps, the silicone adaptors are useful, i just wore one and cut the excess, dont need the full length , if it were black could have looked like a part of the vape. The device does get warm but i never felt i need the silicone body cover at temps of around 200c. Overall not bad if you tweak some .

The starry Xmax 4
I have a few of these devices.. I like how compact they are... The chambers a decent size.. I have one in every color.. settings are easy, straight forward. I bought a few extra batteries to always have on hand.. I have two complaints but it won't keep me from buying more.. The top of the device is a magnet but it does knock off easily as it's happened to me. Many, many many times and the other thing is.... Seems they only last 3 to 6 months. Some of my devices but the warranties for 12 months. Planet of the Vapes is an awesome store because they take it back without question and quickly turn around and get you a new one.. other companies not so easy.. So I definitely prefer to work with planet of the Vapes over any other company. Overall I would recommend this product

This is such an amazing vape.
I’ve been using this vape for over 3 months consistently I take this on road trips and hiking it is super discreet especially with the dosing capsules. My husband has to see himself blowing clouds. Otherwise he feels like he’s not getting hiiiii This is perfect for blowing Clouds I seen someone say that this is for microdoseing but no you can put a lot in those capsules and it will get you exactly where you want to go It’s So discreet It looks like you are just hitting a regular vape. To keep the device clean, I only use the dosing capsules. I don’t put the material straight in the vape because it keeps it cleaner longer Cleaning is super easy Just wipe out the inside with a Q-tip and alcohol Take the mouthpiece apart and just **** it and alcohol then wipe down Here lately, I have been picking my portable vape over my tower vape even in the house The battery doesn’t last very long, so I recommend picking up another one You can get a good 6 sessions out of one battery But if you are hiking or traveling, you definitely want a back up My only complaint is the magnet part of the mouthpiece likes to pull up whenever it gets really hot, but you can snap it back in when it cools. I’m going to pick up another top to the vape because mine started doing that and I just wanna back up in case it does mess up But so far it’s good it works fine it can get annoying if you are doing multiple sessions at once The metal mouthpiece does get hot, but it comes with a silicone mouthpiece When using the silicone mouthpiece, you can’t even tell it gets hot I like that it comes with a carb that you can open and close so you can have a slower pull I highly recommend this vape

Close to 5 star
After a few weeks of use, I’ve found my groove with this device. For my first couple of uses I wasn’t impressed at all. I was only getting average flavor, and my bowels were getting to a dark roast after a couple of minutes of use at 400 degrees, especially the bottom material, which would dark roast significantly faster than the material at the top. Since then I started packing the herb lightly, vaping the first couple minutes at 380 degrees, and letting the herb sit in the oven for a full 30 seconds before my first hit. That increased the flavor and vapor production a lot. Stir after every 2-3 hits and my sessions last a while. The dosing capsule is a good idea, but there's too much space between it and the oven walls so too much air flows around it which doesn’t produce much vapor unless you crank the heat. Battery life is awesome, and controls are simple to learn once and never forget. The big downside of the device is if you pack your herbs without the dosing cap the ceramic filter clogs fast and too often. It’s also fragile, I used a flat side of a *** tool to gently pry it out and half of it snapped. If they made a regular screen similar to the Planet of the Vapes “ONE” it’d be a 5-star device.

Meh 🫤
Let’s start with the okay: battery life is decent I would say I managed approx 10 full max power 6 minute sessions a charge with *some* power to spare. A couple attachments that are useful, dosing caps and tube to the **** thing. Quality and fit and finish is on point. It will get you ****** with some patience. ————————————- Onto the meh: If you’re looking for a big hitter, look elsewhere. this IS NOT for a one and done hit, this requires patience. I use max temp and 6 min sess mode because it takes about 4 mins for me to get to where I want need to be and that’s after about 2 mins heat up cycle I give it to make sure I’m going to get something. So absolutely plan on approx 5-6 minutes everytime you need to get medicated with this thing. I thought that would be fine, as someone who smokes joints I figured that’s fine with me, and I’m half wrong, as often as it works for my instances it also doesn’t. It is enough that I do have some regrets that unfortunately came up after the return period becuse before I really criticize something I want to make sure for sure, ya know? Cleaning isn’t difficult but it is a higher maintenance device vs some options, it loves to gum up in the upper bits. Battery life is another potential quirk. I would say the battery life is good enough for personal use on a night out, but that’s about it away from the charger. Once the battery gets about half indicated, it takes even longer and is noticeable in that it seems weaker, it will still eventually work and you can drag it out to get you through, but increasingly will feel like a chore. Other vaporizers manage this a lot better. Overall this is better than many conduction based vapes, but not enough in my opinion to warrant a purchase over much more affordable variants. 3/5 stars, it’s functional, it is useful, does works with patience, but that’s about it. Defiantly needs a real hybrid oven atleast!

Okay for cheap beginner vape
If you're experienced user like myself you will be disappointed in this. Flavor is okay effects and vapor protection leaves me wanting. The green color is cooler it feels nice in the hand like the controls eats threw batteries get 2 good session out of a charge. If you're just getting into using ******** this thing will be great. DO NOT **** mine had about a 2.5 foot **** off the coffee table and it all came apart very dramatic and I had to get out a file to get the cap to go back on because the aluminum body folded over and the cap with mouth piece would go back on this happened 12 hours after I got it so that was lame but yea I won't be using this one very much at all. Probably just save it for guests

Good, not great
While I am not at all new to enjoying herbs, I am very new to dry herb vaping. The Starry 4 is the second device I have purchased. I wanted to try a conduction-style oven in a device that has good reviews and wouldn't break the bank and the Starry 4 fit the bill. The first thing I personally love about the device is the dosing capsules. It keeps everything neat and cleaner than just loading dry herbs directly into the oven. You still get some residue on the mouthpiece but it's very easy to clean and I don’t notice any change in taste. I even bought the 5 capsule accessory so I can load them all up at once and have them ready to go. I also love the super-fast heat-up. I usually start my temp at 190 C so the herb cooks well but doesn’t get scorched and it gets to that temp in a matter of seconds. The adjustable airflow is nice in theory but at lower temps, I really didn’t find it necessary. The vapor was cool enough, and the draw was just fine. At higher temps, it may be beneficial to open the airflow to cool the vapor more but it didn’t really impact it by much for me. Adjustments are easy to do and rather intuitive, plus if you forget how to turn it on the display reminds you. The default auto-off is 4 min and in that time frame it doesn’t get too hot to hold and the mouthpiece is just fine but I was feeling there was always more to get out of the herb. However, if I go to 6 min, even at 190 C, the device gets much hotter to nearly being too hot to vape and hold. I did up the temp for a couple of pods but anything over 200 C is really unusable for me at 6 minutes unless I used the silicon mouthpiece. So be careful, or you’ll really burn your lips. Another consideration is battery life. One website (POTV) offers a larger battery as standard with the device but if you buy it from the manufacturer website you get the smaller one. It’s not a huge issue and if you want you can buy an additional battery but I wish they would have just given the bigger one to start. As I mentioned at the top, this is my second device. The first one I bought was the Arizer Air Max. I got that one because I wanted to try a convection style herb heating and that one seemed to be one of the best. If I compare the two devices side by side I have to say for pure experience the Air Max is by far the superior one. It’s not as pocket-friendly as the Starry 4 but stays much cooler even at higher temps, and I do believe gives me a better yield on my herb dosage. Using the same amount in each device, I found the Air Max to be much more potent per session. The Air Max is probably more comparable to the Xlux Roffu, but I’m not ready to pay for another device that might not be an improvement on what I have. So while I do like the Starry 4, for me the Air Max is the better choice. Ps. I tried posting my review on the manufacturer's website, but they are blocking them.

Ok but not great.
Start with cons: Cap is held on with magnets. Not secure enough for me. I use the dosing capsules, but I would never transport device already packed without a capsule because of how easy the cap comes off. You would spill the whole bowl in your pocket or bag. Cap/mouthpiece gets hot. Watched a YouTube video where the reviewer said it doesn't get hot. She was a straight up liar. Body of the device also gets noticably hot. A silicone sleeve may help. Pros: Good battery life. Price point is good. Small footprint, if you have ever held one of the small FireTV remotes, it's like that but thicker. Overall: I bought this to replace my POTV One. It was meant to be a slight upgrade. Overall I like the improved battery life and larger dosing capsule. But I traded that for a hotter device. I would not make the same choice again by buying this device.

6 Months Later: It’s…Okay
Ceramic piece broke up in parts, received replacement from POTV Top magnet head doesn’t sit flush on metal body. Battery takes a while to charge and free falls upon use. Mouthpiece/magnet head gets too hot to touch. Dosing capsules are good but they don’t produce the same vapor at all. Overall, get something better.
