The Munchies: Cannabis Chocolate Bonbons

Getting ready for a night of animated movies is always a treat, but how about elevating that experience to a whole new level? Imagine combining your favorite movies with some delicious chocolate chocolates made with cannabis.

If you’re looking for an exciting trip through animation and a unique way to relax at the same time, you’re in the right place. In this recipe, we’ll guide you through the creation of exquisite cannabis-infused chocolate chocolates, perfect to accompany your favorite animated movies.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup cannabutter

  • 1/4 cup heavy cream

  • 8 oz (approximately 225 g) semisweet chocolate, chopped into small pieces

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence

  • Pinch of salt

  • Filling options: chopped nuts, dried fruit, caramel, etc.

  • Optional: melted white chocolate for decoration.

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan, heat heavy cream over medium heat until it begins to boil. Remove from heat.

  2. Add the chopped semisweet chocolate to the hot cream and stir until completely melted and a smooth mixture forms.

  3. Add the cannabutter, vanilla essence, and a pinch of salt. Stir well until all ingredients are fully incorporated.

  4. If you wish to add fillings such as chopped nuts, dried fruit, or caramel, this is the time to do so. Mix gently.

  5. Let the mixture sit at room temperature for about 15-20 minutes. Then chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour or until the mixture has hardened enough to handle.

  6. Once the mixture is firm enough, use a teaspoon to scoop small portions and form balls with your hands. If you find that the mixture is too sticky, you can lightly grease your hands with oil.

  7. Place the balls on a tray lined with parchment paper and refrigerate them again for about 15-20 minutes to harden.

  8. Optionally, you can dip the chocolates in melted white chocolate for decoration. If you do this, refrigerate them again briefly to allow the white chocolate to harden.

  9. Once the chocolates are completely cooled and firm, store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator.

  10.  Enjoy!
