Movies & Munchies: 5 Stoner Movies That Will Make You Laugh

Kick back, spark up, and laugh out loud with these reliable stoner flicks.

Let’s be real. Nothing beats getting wickedly high and locking yourself into the cough for some major laughs.

Some movies are better suited for the stoner’s liking. These films are generally comedies with references to weed smoking and ridiculous humor. Some might say these movies completely change depending on how high you are when watching them; are you up for the challenge?

We’ve compiled a list of stoner movies you must watch when high. Extraordinary side quest: watch ’em sober and compare. We’ve also included a savory mini corn dog-infused recipe for those who like to keep the high rolling.

Top 5 Stoner Movies That Will Make You Laugh

Pineapple Express

This is almost every stoner’s go-to movie when they need a pick-me-up. This classic comedy movie was released in 2008 and has remained relevant ever since. Or maybe I’m just biased since this is my main comfort flick.

The plot of Pineapple Express is quite interesting and pretty wild. It revolves around a high-strung process server and his weed dealer, who dig themselves into a deep hole after witnessing the murder of the dealer’s boss. It’s a hilarious Seth Rogen flick and a true classic for our community.

Scary Movie 2

The Scary Movie franchise has mixed reviews, but the second film might be the one we all enjoyed the most. This franchise satirizes famous and relevant horror movies, with the second one taking a crack at haunted house movies instead of slashers.

Scary Movie 2 is fast-paced, funny, and heavy-hitting. You can smoke a joint and sit back to enjoy the parodies of The Haunting, The Exorcist, Amityville Horror, Poltergeist, Silence Of The Lambs, and many others.

The Scary Movie franchise is a commercial success but with lots of negative criticism. After all, stoner films are not meant to be perfect or known for their comical prowess but for the ridiculous laughs.

Ted

You probably foresaw this movie being on the list. What are you waiting for if you haven’t seen it yet? Ted is a hilarious flick that is a must-watch for all stoners and non-smokers alike.

Catch Mark Wahlberg (John Bennett) and his giant talking teddy bear Ted (Seth MacFarlane) basking in the glory of youth and partying it up in some of modern comedy’s most hilarious scenes. When John begins to take life more seriously, the only thing standing in his way is his childhood friend, Ted.

Sausage Party

This 2016 adult-animated raunchy comedy film is a must-watch for stoners. Seth Rogen, Jonah Hill, and Evan Goldberg do it again, creating a funny, crude, and completely inappropriate film that entertains and gets the laughter rolling.

Sausage Party intends to make a parody of Disney Pixar, starring a sausage who lives in a supermarket and finds out the truth of his reality. The movie has fantastic critical acclaim for a film that is so raw for this politically correct world we live in today.

Harold & Kumar Go To White Castle

This is the first film in the Harold & Kumar series. Harold & Kumar Go To White Castle is often referred to as “comedy done right,” owing to the titular characters’ inclination to get themselves into a bind.

The plot revolves around Harold and Kumar, who travel to White Castle for the best burger while high but are befuddled by unexpected twists and turns. Many familiar faces make hilarious cameo appearances in this film, including the likes of Neil Patrick Harris.

The Munchies

Let’s face it; you’ll probably binge-watch all these movies. If that’s the case, you’ll need some delicious finger foods to make the ride even more enjoyable.

For that reason, we’ll teach you how to make cannabis-infused mini corn dogs below. We recommend you make another batch without herb for something to snack on when the munchies hit.

In case you don’t have time for a recipe, here’s a product that will definitely make you laugh out loud. Binoid’s Delta 8 THC Gummies are a quality treat with soothing and comfortable effects that will keep you locked into the movie with ease. They contain 25mg Delta 8 THC per gummy, the perfect dose for mood elevation.

Want something a bit stronger? Check out Binoid’s Delta 9 THC Gummies. The mix of 10mg Delta 9 THC and 50mg CBD per gummy lifts the mood while calming the mind and body with the euphoric effects of Delta 9 THC. They’re equally as delicious as they are potent.

Before you go ahead and snag an edible, maybe you’d prefer an ultra-potent vaporizer with one of the newest cannabinoids on the market. We’re talking about none other than Binoid’s THC-O Disposable Vape. THC-O is said to be 3x stronger than classic Delta 9 THC, and this bad body contains 92% premium THC-O distillate and flavorful terpenes for a true-to-strain experience.
