These are one of my favorite vapes. A must have! Also, would make a nice gift for a beginner or experienced.
Love this vape
I was vape-shopping because, even though I smoke cigarettes, ****** was making me cough so much that it wasn't even worth smoking it. This, I get no coughing. Easy to load, easy to clean, easy to use. Also, purple. This is a color-coordinated vape.
Perfect edc
No need to babble on about this vape! Others have said enough about how good it rips. I give it 5 stars. I like it so much, that at this price, I bought two.
GO FOR IT!
Prior to buying the V3 Pro, I was using the Flowermate Nano V5.
With all due respect, the Flowermate is not in the same league. The taste is fantastic. The precise temperature is accurate and reliable so I have never burned my ******. It is always nice even vaporization.
The warming chamber is a perfect size and couldn't be easier to clean. The mouthpiece to clean is a breeze and not easy to brake. The airflow is great. I would suggest a small screen filter to top off your ****** once it's packed. This prevents the ****** from to sticking to the airflow filter on the mouthpiece.
The only thing that can be improved is the vapor heat reduction. The heating chamber is close to the mouthpiece and can sometimes be a little too warm. There is a great attachment to use with a water pipe. It's cheap and silicone-plastic but works to perfection. It can work with any female 14 or 18mm water pipe fitting. I HIGHLY SUGGEST GETTING IT! If you get the attachment the vapor will be super cool and tasty.
I cant recommend this product enough.
Best all-round unit I've found so far
This one checks all the right boxes, and it sets a standard. I don't see any reason to go below.
First, the "convection" (pre-heated air path) method is clearly better than a conduction oven or a hybrid combination. Dry herb is more quickly and evenly heated, resulting in better taste and less overcooked/bitter vapor.
The stainless steel oven insert pod (dosing capsule) is the second feature I would not go without. The ones made for the POTV 1 fit perfectly in the V3 oven, with almost no loss of volume. Capsules work very well, keep the oven clean, and POTV sells them for less than $3 each. They hold maybe 0.2 grams, which for me is more than enough for a session. Capsules stay clean for many sessions, and they're easy to fill and empty.
The V3 has a very cool draw at the mouthpiece, and it seems to ******* the good stuff more efficiently than anything else I've used. I bought a glass mouthpiece, but haven't used it yet, because I don't see any problem with the plastic one, which has a ceramic heat-exchanger/airpath insert.
Fine temperature control is a nice feature. I start at 185C (365F) for half a dozen good hits, then go up by about 10C at a time, maxing out at ~210C (410F). The V3 takes 20 seconds to go from room temp to 190C - hard to imagine needing a quicker response than that.
Build quality is quite good, with an attractive, understated aluminum body, comfortable in a hand or a pocket. The controls and display are simple and direct.
The swappable 18650 battery is in a sweet spot for carrying enough charge for at least 6 or 8 4-minute sessions, without a lot of weight/bulk.
A few minor complaints:
* No carrying case. I found a little drawstring bag for another device that works perfectly, but why not provide an odor-proof silicone or hard case?
* Magnetic mouthpiece attachment could be a weak point. I haven't had it come loose in a pocket, but it could happen fairly easily.
* Battery cover attachment is a bit weak as well. A carrying bag/case mostly solves this.
For comparison, I used several different Airvape units (no longer sold at POTV), and I liked them, except for the fussy, tiny easy-lose parts, **** prices, non-swappable battery, and poor support on parts. I was happy with a Flowermate V5 Nano for almost 2 years, but its electronics failed, and it's not nearly as nice as the Xmax.
Best budget vaporizer
Has a lot of the features you find on **** price vaporizers like temperature selection to the degree, on-demand, and session mode, plus, it’s easy to keep clean and very discreet. Great purchase!
First time vape user. Love it.
Always smoked my herb since the beginning. Figured I’d give this a shot since I heard a lot of positives about vaping your herb and I absolutely love this thing. I’ve been using it for about 3 weeks and the hits are smooth and I can actually taste the terps for once! Definitely would recommend if you’re new or a vet when it comes to vaping your herb!
Slightly on par with the Firefly 2+!!
Got this on 4/19 through the *** sales and it's so flipping sweet that I been using it since it got here. I have the Crafty, solo 2, firefly 2+, and the vong and for the price this thing is noice! The flavor on the lower temp ranges of 345 to 370 on on demand mode is great. Couple of cigar puffs and a 7 second drag and you got Crafty type clouds with fairly cool vapor. Crafty type clouds with firefly 2 on demand vapor, what's not to like at this price!? It's not a crafty, it's not a firefly 2 but it's up there in the conversation of good vapes. The mother#*%* is in my pocket right now just cus, it's that good!
Just got it. Seems near-perfect.
My previous fave, a Flowermate V5 Nano, stopped working electronically after almost 2 years of fairly frequent use. This unit equals or beats the Nano in every way, at a lower price. Love the swappable battery, beautiful clear bright display, simple controls, and dry herb pods (dosing capsules). USB C and 1 F temperature increments aren't essential, but they're nice touches. Everything is so much cleaner with the pods - can't imagine why anyone would pack herb into the oven instead. Assuming it's as durable as it feels, this could be the best vaper ever.
XMAXV3
I really like this vaporizer! Very easy to use and compact. I highly recommend it.
