Great Vape
I was really very pleasantly surprised by this item. Everything that you read in the description is true! It is very easy to use and does not have much if any, of a learning curve.
It not only handles dry herb but comes with a cup for concentrates... which works quite well I might add.
I found that the POTV One Dosing caps fit and work perfectly.
I would recommend getting an extra concentrate cup as well as an extra small screen for the mouth piece. (Not necessary, but both are inexpensive and good to have in case you lose one.)
I purchased the Black one.... For Ninja Stealth Vaping!
Please note: You must use a flat top, **** current, unprotected lithium ion cell. Do NOT use a button top cell. It won't fit. There is a company in PA that sells the batteries. Liion Wholesale...done business with them for years.
I have heard some complaints about people scraping the battery shrink wrap when they take the battery out and put it back in. I have not had this problem.
Just be careful keeping the battery parallel with the axis of the unit and you won't have a problem. If a little bit of shrink wrap should be damaged, it is not harmful. Shrink wrap can be purchased from the the same company and put on with a hairdryer. There are YouTube videos available if you need help.
Personally, I use the unit at 350 F which does not create a much if any of a visible cloud...with almost no throat or bronchial irritation.
Unreasonably Good
As a daily user of a Tubo Dual (and owner of 10+ top-end vapes), I bought this thinking it would be a good vape to lend to friends, and now I'm sitting here wondering if I should buy a second because I want to have one on my desk.
This thing can do it all. As other reviewers have said, it's the perfected version of the Vleaf Go and the Grasshopper before it. Those vapes had deal-breaker issues, and while time will tell more surely, for $100, frankly, nothing else is even worth considering.
On the go or on a bubbler, this thing will impress you. If you're considering it, just do it. I'm sure you won't regret it.
One of the best, unbelievably good for the price
Got this early in the fall. Had to buy from Canada since they hadn't been released in the US. I've been using it for months now and it's been great. Cooling mouthpiece works well, never feels like a torch blowing in the back of your mouth like Vivant Vleaf Go or a Grasshopper. If you use session mode it does tend to go past your desired setting after a while. You can turn the heat off and still get another big cloud. Overall might not be great if you really want a set and forget session mode, but on-demand is great. I find it kind of similar to the Ghost MV1, similar performance and way simplified engineering. I paid full price plus some to get it across the border, I wouldn't hesitate to get one right away from POTV if I was thinking of getting one now.
The V3 Pro
I just received my V3 Pro, the battery was fully charged. I did 3 burnouts, loaded it with herb at 370F. I love it. Great draw. Good hits. Easy to clean. I own an IQ, Firefly, Fury Edge, and some concentrate pens. The V3 Pro is now top of the list. Great service from POTV also.
Get one!
A Great Vape !!
Have had it and been using daily for over a week now and am very happy with this vape. It is everything the POTV One should have been. It has all the features and more power too. USB -C charging, replaceable battery, more sessions per charge, magnetic mouthpiece, and even uses POTV One dosing caps. For the price that POTV offers this vape for, you can not beat it! Am looking forward to the WPA that is soon to be offered, that will make this a perfect vape!
V3 Pro
This is a ****** GOOD VAPE and almost $40 less than I paid from a Canadian site to get it early. Straight up if you’re looking for a device that works similarly to the Tiny Might, hits hard AF in both On-Demand and Session mode at 1/5th the price buy this vape.
It sits with my Mighty+, CFX, Tera etc. I have the WPA and honestly reach for it over the Tiny Might regularly to use through glass due to its easy load/unloading. It also works incredibly well for microdosing in On Demand more.
Hand to God a normal/small-sized bowl in this device stretches like a giraffe’s neck. Pure convection for under $100, WELL under $100 here at POTV, are you kidding me? Watch this vape be the surprise/most slept-on vape of the next 6 months. And you’re never going to find it for under $90 again after POTV’s sale.
WoW !
Really nice, I also have an XMAX 2 and the XMAX 3 is way better. Not harsh at all, it tastes better and I love the temperature control. I highly recommend it. My brother bought it for my birthday and now he is going to order one for himself.
Out the box
I've had this for about 24 hours, works great, tastes great, cheap replaceable screen and rubber in the mouthpiece. Replaceable battery, which I can charge and use at the same time, and the options I need when in use. Doesn't get any hotter than the rest of the vapes like Pax.
Then there's the convection instead of the standard conduction. Long term will tell but great piece, great price, hard to beat.
Great Vaping experience
The battery is so great it lasts me about 8-10 sessions and that's incredible but I mostly use it on demand mode because I like to smoke while I'm working so I cannot do sessions on a regular basis but I tried them and they were cool. Something That I have to mention is that the cap of the Dosing capsule that came in with the vape itself its very loose. It's like does not fit I tried to use it but it's really loose it is like it does not fit and the herbs went out every time and it was a whole mess.
Got another for my Dad
As someone who has burned plant matter throughout most of his adult life, I never truly realized how much of the taste was being lost. Enter this magic stick, which heats up to to 200C in roughly 30 seconds and delivers a very flavorful, non-scorched hit. I like using the metal capsule so the oven stays clean, whereas my father prefers to just tap his grind right into the chamber. It's worked wonderfully in both cases.
I do have a couple minor nitpicks:
-The bell-shaped piece with the screen restricts airflow since the holes in the top are nearly flush with where the mouthpiece inserts. It also gets really hot and sticky from the condensed vapor and will occasionally pull the capsule out when you take the top off. More than once, I've ended up with a tiny scalding thimble landing in my lap or on my keyboard.
-The LCD screen is adequate but the buttons are small, recessed and not very fun to press. The main button should be redesigned to be more springy and tactile.
Great design otherwise.
