POTV XMAX V3 Pro Vaporizer

This is my first vape device, so I can't compare it with others. It has worked well for me since I got it 2 months ago. I wish it came with clear instructions for how to disassemble the mouthpiece for cleaning, and for how to install the tiny screens that came in the box. Also, I bought a bunch of the POTV-brand dosing capsules (described as compatible with the v3); they seem to be very slightly taller than the space between the V3 oven base and the mouthpiece screen. This means there's a very narrow gap between the V3's magnetic surfaces, so the mouthpiece isn't secured quite as well as designed. It would be better if the V3's oven space was just a bit taller to allow some leeway for capsules. Since I'm using capsules exclusively, I may try removing the screen plug from the mouthpiece to improve the fit. I recommend a helpful hack I came up with: Buy some (inexpensive) plumbing O-rings at the hardware store: 1-inch inner diameter (OD), 3/4-inch outer diameter (ID), 1/8-inch thickness. Put six O-rings on the V3, with two at the top of the mouthpiece, two just above the display, and two just below the temperature buttons. (See first photo.) It takes some effort to slide the O-rings on, but once they're in place they fit well. The O-rings: * Improve grip so the V3 is less likely to slip when held in the hand. * Protect the V3's finish by keeping it away from tabletops and other surfaces. (See second photo.) * Ensure that the magnetic battery cover stays in place. (Sliding the two bottom O-rings down a bit lets the cover open.) * Stay cool because they don't touch the warmest area. * Stay in place when installed in pairs. Single O-rings tend to slide out of place. I like the result, and the protective rings look like they could be part of the V3 design.

I've owned two of these and they're not all created equal. The second one I currently own the magnetic cap doesn't secure firmly so it's always a loose when you're taking a puff and I might accidentally spill the contents. Didn't have this problem with the first one I owned. But other than that it's pretty good for the price.

I bought this as it's an affordable, portable convection vape along with the POTV ONE, knowing what to expect from either device. This device features a removable, rechargeable battery and a small array of accessories, including one necessary dosing capsule and screens. It's a versatile, ****-tech, and useful pocket vape that can be adapted quickly for even a novice. Definitely opt for an additional mouthpiece.

I liked this vape, it heats up well and it's easy to clean. -1 star because it's a portable design yet it's kind of cumbersome to use this out and about without dosing capsules.

I love the updated version of the Xmax, especially the new mouthpiece design for it. For this, I can give 5/5; the only caveat is that the steel diffuser that holds the mesh screens is not available anymore they were for a short time. This make the experience a little edgy for me because I had two of them, and now I'm only down to one. If there were available to purchase I would give the vape 5/5, but I can only give 4/5 overall. As far as performance, it can hold its own very well; vapor clouds can be from medium-light to medium-****. Compared to the POTV ONE, which I also have, the clouds are not as intense as the XMAX. The Xmax makes up for this with its battery life and built-in stir tool on the mouthpiece housing; having a longer battery life can, I can get about 5-8 good sessions consecutively and still have decent battery life if I want to travel with it. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who can't handle heavy vapor clouds but want a good solid cloud at the same time and if you are someone who will have a 5-8 round session back to back because battery life will support all the way.

Wish the bowl was a bit bigger.

Got the mouthpiece adapter from the most recent V3 release. When looking through accessories there is only an option for the screen and not the entire diffuser w/ screen as it is with a new unit. are there diffusers available with the latest V3 mouthpiece adapter or just screen"

This one is my third XMAX vaporizer. I love it. I normally use the session mode which is 6 minutes. The on-demand mode is easy to use and heats up in 10 / 15 seconds. PRO: ---A lot of tasty vapor, and the mouthpiece is made of a dimpled glass tube to cool down the vapor and give you pure flavor. ---No restriction of the vapor flow, All aluminum case build. ---The oven made of stainless steel is easy to clean with a brush. ===It uses the same battery size as the older XMAX device. CON: The device is 7 inches long, and not really portable.. cannot carry it in a pocket. I use it at home only.

It's a great vape. My only gripe is the dimple mouthpiece. It's awful so I ordered the glass mouthpiece and the original mouthpiece that's on the first model and now it's a great vape. Heats fast and the battery lasts a long time
