A unique Naperville structure that recognizes its community’s togetherness. The wall is a tribute to those who contributed to the celebration of the year 2000. On the wall are inscribed names of Naperville individuals and businesses. You can find the wall at the top of the Riverwalk Amphitheater, where many performances occur throughout the year.

Dubbed the “crown jewel” of Naperville, this Riverwalk is two miles of brick paths with stunning fountains, bridges, memorials, and sculptures. This is more of a peaceful stroll and not one for children, as it’s known for its quiet, lush, and relaxed ambiance. It was founded to celebrate Naperville’s 150th anniversary in 1981. Walkers can visit the landmark clock tower and head over to Centennial Beach in the summertime.

A fan favorite if you’re craving some good eats. Chicago is known for its excellent food, but some of its best eats are right outside the city in Naperville. This culinary and cultural walking tour takes guests to visit family-owned local restaurants through the historic downtown area and neighborhoods. Those on tour will have the chance to stop at a traditional neighborhood pub, an authentic Irish pub, a chocolate and pastry shop, a specialty tea shop, an olive oil and balsamic vinegar supplier, a premium cookie dough store, and a Chicago-style pizzeria.

This musical tower is open year-round and available for visitors on the weekends. Guests are invited to climb all 253 steps to get in a good workout and relish the gorgeous views of the surrounding city. It’s also a prime destination to learn about the tower’s history and unique features. Although 253 steps might not seem like a lot, keep in mind that this tower is taller than the Statue of Liberty. Once you reach the top, you can see all of Naperville, the Riverwalk, Centennial Beach, and the Chicago skyline. 

This forest preserve sits on 2,000 acres of land and was originally going to be a 200-acre dragon-shaped lake with a beach and campground. Local officials decided to transform it into a grassland bird community that’s home to various unique species. This preserve is perfect for walking through the many trails, dog-walking, and horseback riding. Interestingly, there’s a designated model aircraft area as well. A lot of these trails are steep and narrow, so make sure to check the signage of which trail you’re on to see what you’re in for.
