So, you're the proud owner of an Odin device. How do you ensure it stays performing to its best abilities? See the complete care guide here.
Weed tech just keeps getting smarter. In 2025, we saw the launch of an impressive dual-use device that doesn’t require messy packing and loading.
Between flower and concentrates, the Odin device by E10 Labs was designed for making cannabis consumption simpler. It’s one of the first dual-use devices that work with pre-dosed pairings available in Nano Joints (loaded with flower) and Dab Sticks (containing concentrates like live rosin).
While we’ve done our duties and provided an in-depth review of this cutting-edge device, there’s one thing we didn’t cover: cleaning and maintenance.
How do you keep the Odin device performing to its best possible abilities? With a little TLC, this vape can stay your go-to for vaping for years to come.
Read on for the full guide on using, cleaning, and maintaining your E10 Labs Odin device.

During our initial review of the Odin device, here’s what instantly stood out:
Dual Compatibility: Works with both pre-filled Nano Joints (flower) and Dab Sticks (concentrates).
Air-Based Heating Technology: This is different from conduction heating and convection heating. E10 Labs’ Air-Based Heating (ABH) creates a controlled environment that surrounds your material with precisely temperature-controlled air for even heating.
Heat-Not-Burn Technology: Heating your herb without flames to provide a full-flavor experience with maximum effects while preserving cannabinoids and terpenes.
Customizable Sessions: Three temperature settings and two session duration options.
Pocket-Friendly Design: Compact 4.27″ length with aluminum finish.
Impressive Battery Life: 2000mAh capacity with USB-C charging.
User-Friendly: Simple one-button operation.

Power It Up: Press and hold the button for 5 seconds to power it on. The lights will flash, and you’ll feel two vibrations as the heating begins.
Wait For Temperature: The Odin will vibrate twice and show solid lights when it reaches your selected temperature.
Start Puffing: Take slow, steady draws for consistent hits. If you need to pause, hold the button for 5 seconds until the device vibrates and turns off.
Session Ending: Thirty seconds before your session ends, all three lights will start flashing quickly, and the device will vibrate. This is your final warning that your session time is almost done.
End It Off: When the session ends, the device will vibrate once, and all lights will turn off. Make sure you let it cool for a few minutes before taking out the Nano Joint or Dab Stick to avoid burning yourself.

Let It Cool: Always wait at least 5 minutes after a session before handling the Nano Joints and Dab Sticks to avoid burns. Once it’s cool, remove any pre-dosed pairings and get to work.
Clean The Heating Chamber: Use the included isopropyl-soaked cotton swabs to wipe away any gunk and residue from the heating chamber. Just be mindful of the main heating element!
Clean It Regularly: We suggest cleaning the Odin every 3-5 sessions for the best performance. That way, you can remove excess residue without letting it build up—which could potentially weaken the Odin’s performance and flavor.

After some back-to-back use, we’ve run into some common issues with the Odin. Which, quite honestly, aren’t much different than the typical issues you get with weed vapes:
Device Won’t Turn On: Make sure the battery is charged. Plug in for at least 30 minutes, then try again.
Weak Vapor Production: Your chamber probably needs cleaning. Or, you should switch to a higher temperature for thicker clouds.
Uneven Heating: This can happen if your Nano Joint or Dab stick isn’t properly inserted and connected to the heating chamber.
Short Battery Life: You’re likely not using the battery correctly. Use the Odin until its battery completely dies. Then, wait for it to fully recharge. It should recalibrate.

You might remember the name E1011 Labs. Well, it recently underwent a complete rebrand and revealed its new brand identity as E10 Labs. But why the switch?
Per a recent press release, E10 Labs Marketing Director Mackenzie Whalen explained that it’s “more than just a visual change. It’s an embodiment of how we’ve grown and where we’re headed. It reflects our ethos—intentional, effortless, and true to the plant.”
And what should we consumers expect? A deeper commitment to safer, more accessible, and enjoyable consumption. Leading the charge in that field is the Odin device, now available throughout California.
