MODUS Vape Review 2025: Is It Worth It?

We got our hands on Modus’s Black Pocket Dab pretty much the moment they released it on the market.

MODUS claims to have 30+ years of experience in the cannabis industry, but does that expertise really shine through in their products?

We decided to put this California-based brand to the test and find out for ourselves.

Distillates are becoming a thing of the past, given the health concerns around additives and the demand for more natural, full-spectrum cannabis experiences.

We were immediately intrigued when we heard that MODUS sold a ready-to-use concentrate dab pen that skipped distillates entirely, focusing on pure concentrate with zero fillers. 

This MODUS dab pen is filled with 2000mg of cannabinoids in total:

• 41% THC-P
• 49% HHC
• 10% HTE

The vape actually came ready to use just as promised. From the first puff, we could tell the difference: the terpenes tasted fresh, vibrant, and real, unlike those dull, flavorless vapes that barely deliver anything beyond a whiff of artificial sweetness.

The effects were seriously strong. We knew THC-P could be up to 33x stronger than regular THC, but feeling it in action with MODUS was next-level. The high was euphoric, strong, but not overwhelming—just an instant wave of body relaxation and mental ease without crossing into any uncomfortable territory.

We grabbed Pineapple Upside Down Cake for a mid-afternoon boost and Pink Rozay to wind down in the evening. Pink Rozay lived up to the hype—it nailed the floral notes the strain is known for, and after just one puff, we were blissfully out of our minds.

We’ll definitely be grabbing another MODUS Black Pocket Dab soon—Gary P Grape is next on our list. That said, we’ve heard from others that these pens can ramp up your tolerance quickly, so we’ll be keeping an eye on that.
