TICAL Makes Waves In Illinois With A Solid New Lineup Of Strains

Here's the inside scoop on the newest Method Man-verified TICAL strains gracing Illinois' cannabis scene.

Illinois, are you ready to “roll it, light it, smoke it?” TICAL, the cannabis brand of legendary hip-hop artist and cannapreneur Method Man, just announced the launch of two new strains throughout the state.

What started in California in 2020 has since expanded to 12 states and Canada, gathering weed lovers and hip-hop fans alike to feel the TICAL love through potent, premium flower. Named after Method Man’s debut solo album, TICAL stands for “Taking Into Consideration All Lives.”

How does the brand do that? By treating consumers to an experience, from opening the package to feeling the buzz. TICAL‘s new lineup of strains, cultivated by Flora Arbor, promises to do exactly that.

Meet The Growers

Dave Myrowitz, Director of Cultivation at Flora Arbor, is incredibly excited to bring these new Method Man-verified strains to Illinois’ cannabis market.

“One thing that really sets us apart from the rest of the cannabis industry is that we’re a small craft grow. We’re not an MSO, we don’t have a huge facility, we’re not in multiple states. We’re able to really focus on just this one facility. Just on each grow room, on each plant, on each nug,” explains Dave.

On Flora Arbor’s partnership with TICAL, he adds, “TICAL represents more than just premium cannabis—it’s a symbol of an era that set the standard for both music and culture. As someone deeply connected to the cultivation process, I see the same level of passion and dedication that Method Man brought to the music industry reflected in every strain we grow.”

If there’s one thing to expect from these new strains, it’s that every consumer will have an experience, no matter if they’re a recreational user or medical patient. The shared goal at Flora Arbor is to help you have “an excellent experience from start to finish,” Dave expressed. “Look at the packaging, open it up, smell the product, light it, vaporize it, eat it—whatever it may be.”

Let’s get to the good part. Keep reading to find out which TICAL strains are launching in Illinois, and the top dispensaries carrying them.
