Torontonians are lining out the door to snag the premium and high-quality Cookies goodies.
Americans cannabis users in recreationally legalized states have probably grabbed a tin of green from the renowned brand, Cookies. Residents of Toronto are about to see what all the hype is about.
The first Cookies dispensary in Canada launched in Toronto on January 29, and the grand opening was packed with happy weed lovers lined up outside and celebrating with giveaways and prizes. As per the Cookies Canada Instagram page, it looks like the American company will be branching out into Alberta next.
One can easily recognize the signature cookies sign at 278 Queen Street West, but those who don’t dabble in the plant might be a little disappointed to find out there aren’t any cookies at all. That comic-looking logo with white lettering in front of blue signage has become one of the most recognizable logos in the industry.

Even one month after the launch in January, the Cookies dispensary in downtown T.O. still has a line up outside of eager cannabis users waiting to get their hands on the high-quality products from the company and other brands.
The co-founder of Cookies is none other than rapper Berner, who also came up with the popular and world-renowned strain Girl Scout Cookies. It wasn’t long before people started calling the strain Berner Cookies or Berner’s Cookies, and with that positive reputation, the rapper felt it was a better time than ever to launch a storefront chain.
Berner co-founded Cookies with cultivation master Jai, and the company has made waves on the west coast, especially in its native San Francisco. But expanding operations into weed-friendly Canada was something we could see from a mile away.
Quickly becoming a lifestyle brand, Cookies saw impressive feedback from cannabis users in the United States, and their expansion into Canada was a highly anticipated venture. We can only expect the same profitable and fortunate experience in the northern market.
