Here’s How To Make Cannabis Floral Crowns
The latest craze is wearing weed on your head. No, really. Cannabis floral crowns are a thing, and making your own is a breeze. Here’s how.
It’s officially summer. For many, this is the perfect time of year for weddings, festivals, concerts, and more. If you’re looking for the hottest accessory of the season to join you in the festivities, then look no further than the floral crown. But don’t just settle for rocking the typical roses and daisies. Instead, add some weed to your head. No, really. Cannabis floral crowns are a thing, and making your own is a breeze. Here’s how.
Cannabis floral crowns: the hottest smokeable accessory of the summer
Ever since California’s Lowell Herb Co. began running a special on the weed floral crowns just in time for Coachella, it has now become one of the hottest trends for all sorts of occasions. Whether you have a wedding coming up or just want a super cute photo for Instagram, this smokeable accessory is everything you need.
Not only can you customize your cannabis floral crowns with your favorite strains, but you can also have easy access to them when you’re ready to toke. All you have to do is pluck a nug and spark it!
Sure, you could always tote around a stash bag or something of that nature. But why hold your pot when you can wear it and look damn good while doing so?
Creating your cannabis floral crowns may seem difficult. But believe it or not, it’s super simple and doesn’t take a lot of time. Here’s what you need to get started:
- Floral tape
- Floral wire
- Fresh flowers of your choice
- Wire cutters
- 2-4 grams of your favorite strain
First, you need to take the floral wire and wrap it around your head to get an accurate measurement. Be sure to leave 1 to 2 additional inches on each end for wrapping. Once you’ve done all that, cut the wire.
Next, you’re going to form the wire into a halo shape, using floral tape to wrap the two ends together. Continue wrapping the tape around the rest of the crown for a more natural feel. Also, to make it easier for your flowers to stick.
Moving on, it’s time to cut the flower stems. They should be short enough to arrange on your crown, but long enough to tape. In other words, roughly 1 to 2 inches in length.
Now, the fun begins. Start taping the stems to the crown however you wish. While you’re at it, continue adding more flowers and weed nugs until it’s officially Instagram-worthy. And of course, don’t forget to snap a selfie and show it off.
In case you’re having trouble getting your buds and their short stems to cooperate, just shave off the bottom leaves to make more room on the stem. That way, your precious herb will be easier to work into the headwear.
There you have it; your infused floral crown is complete. Enjoy!
