New Zealand teen in a coma makes progress, CBD treatment to begin soon

After the New Zealand Government signed off their approval for CBD treatment, teen Alex Renton’s condition began improving. Follow the story here.

We have updates on New Zealand’s Alex Renton!

For those of you that haven’t been following the story, a young man, age 19, by the name of Alex Renton has been in a coma for two months, appearing unresponsive to his seizure medication. In an effort to save his life, friends, family, and caring folks like you across the inter-webs signed a petition seeking permission from the New Zealand Government to treat Alex with CBD oil. On June 9th, the Government signed-off their approval.

Three days later, before administering the CBD treatment, Alex’s condition began improving —  he is now breathing on his own. Treatment will continue as planned, and is scheduled to begin immediately.

We are solaced to hear of Alex’s impending recovery, and will continue to follow this story, sharing updates as they’re released.
