In yet another on-brand marketing stint, rapper and cannabis connoisseurs Snoop Dogg just joined Call of Duty: Vanguard and Call of Duty: Warzone through a new tracer pack dubbed the Snoop Dogg Operator Bundle.
You read that right; COD players can now shoot their way through the videogame as the D-O-Double-G himself. A report from Polygon gave us the rundown on what to expect through the new collaboration, which comes packed with a ton of marijuana references and nods to cannabis culture.
According to Polygon, the Snoop Dogg Operator Bundle comes with its own progression path that unlocks the following;
The report also mentioned that the gold-trimmed ‘VIP’ and the Diamond ‘Tha Doggfather’ are only available when unlocked at max level (20).
A quick teaser video from Call of Duty shows an animated Snoop smashing heads with champagne bottles while his voice lines lead the way through each scene, puffing on hefty blunts while using his custom marijuana-designed guns and dropping into warzones “like it’s hot.”
One comment from user That Lizard Guy points out the hilarious historical accuracy, “I remember when Snoop Dogg helped seize Normandy in the D-Day landings.”
Some other cool features will be the Snoop’s weapon blueprint that comes with the Bong Ripper sniper rifle, the West Coast Bling assault rifle, and an SMG dubbed Tha Shiznit.
Even better, when shooting each of Snoop’s guns, the flash resembles a smokey green marijuana leaf.
Check out Call of Duty’s website for more information about the Snoop Dogg Operator Bundle, which goes for $19.99 (2,400 COD Points).
