Whether he’s smoking the green or promoting his black and yellow cannabis brand, rapper and cannabis advocate Wiz Khalifa is always making moves for the people.

You might know his weed brand, Khalifa Kush, which sells the rapper’s favorite strains, including the brand’s namesake strain that was tailored to Wiz’s personal preferences years ago.

Now, he’s expanding the Khalifa Kush brand once more. This time, he’s inviting Florida’s medical patients to find their relief through his premium goods. Cannabis giant Trulieve recently announced that its medical dispensaries throughout Florida will be the only shops carrying Khalifa Kush products.

That means Trulieve is now the sole producer, processor, and retailer of Khalifa Kush products in Florida.

Before the launch, fans and consumers lined up outside three Trulieve dispensaries for a chance to meet the rapper during an exclusive meet and greet. These shops include:

• Trulieve Coral Springs
• Trulieve Hollywood Blvd
• Trulieve North Miami Beach

The launch and meet and greet were scheduled for October 1 but were delayed due to Hurricane Ian. During launch day on October 8, Trulieve and Khalifa Kush matched all donations and raised funds for the Florida Disaster Fund.

The event itself was a hit, not just because of Khalifa Kush’s potent goodies. There was a live DJ, new merchandise, on-brand black and yellow popsicles, and a raffle for tickets to the Khalifa Kush after-party.
