Eaze To Open Its First Two Dispensaries After Seven Years Of Delivery

Eaze, known for the fastest cannabis delivery, just announced its first retail dispensaries in California.

If you haven’t experienced Eaze’s fast delivery and wide array of products, you can now do so in person. The nation’s largest cannabis delivery marketplace recently launched its first Eaze dispensary retail store in San Diego, California. Eaze also acquired an additional dispensary in Santa Ana, California.

Eaze has been delivering cannabis to consumers across the nation for seven years now, and the company finally opened its first retail dispensary storefronts. Eaze had a strategic expansion plan rolling out over the past 20 months, which would expand access to two million registered customers to an evolving menu of licensed products through delivery, in-store shopping, and pick-up.

Eaze announced in the summer of 2021 that it acquired the multi-state retail leader Green Dragon, which sparked the company’s leap into dispensary retail storefronts in Colorado and Florida. Eaze CEO Rogelio Choy told Forbes that “Expanding access to cannabis is at the core of Eaze’s mission,” meaning his company was always striving to “meet consumers where they’re at.”

Choy added that his company always had plans to launch a brick-and-mortar retail shop, “[Eaze] always believed that delivery and brick-and-mortar go together beautifully,” which was brought to reality with help from Green Dragon’s retail expertise.

The Eaze CEO continued that the “look, smell, and feel of cannabis” is important to consumers, which is why 47% of Eaze’s customers also browse for products in dispensaries. Choy said that delivery is “absolutely essential for convenience and access,” simply because not everyone can drive across town or the country to purchase a product in person.

Although Eaze is now operating in two dispensaries, Choy said that delivery is still the company’s “backbone” even as it continues to broaden retail horizons with both Eaze and Green Dragon. He said Eaze is planning on expanding throughout the United States with potential deals in Massachusetts, New Jersey, and Oregon.

Now that Eaze is moving into physical storefront locations, this allows customers to grow a more personable relationship with the company. Choy says Eaze dispensaries are the perfect way to “put a name and a face to our brand,” which is something his company has been very invested in.

“For a long time, [Eaze] was considered an anonymous technology platform that made fast delivery possible,” Choy told Forbes. The new changes will bring positive benefits to both consumers and brands. Brands now have a new point of sale, and consumers can access a variety of products at their fingertips.
