Like many teens would, G-Eazy indulged in cannabis as fun and rebellious endeavor while savoring the “alien, wonderful” feeling he would get.
Now an adult, G-Eazy found himself hiding his cannabis routines from his mother for years, he didn’t want her to find out and be disappointed in him.
“The irony was my mom had also been hiding it for me,” he mentioned while laughing. “Obviously, later, I hit a point with my mom where we finally came clean to each other, and we had a ceremonious smoking experience together, which was pretty awkward at the time. But now, it’s something we share; it’s a positive thing. Cannabis can be a connector that brings people together.”
After co-founding his cannabis and lifestyle brand FlowerShop with Isaac Muwaswes (CEO) and Gabriel Garciá, Isaac explained that the company was born from the desire to help bring people together and connect them and their inner feelings.
“When it comes to certain scents and aromas, a lot of what we’re trying to find relates to that connectivity. Whether it’s music, whether it’s cannabis, whether it’s food, whether it’s how things smell,” he explained.
“It’s similar to breaking bread. It’s similar to sharing any positive experience that becomes enhanced when experienced with other people,” G-Eazy added.
This study demonstrates undeniable evidence that cannabis aids those struggling with depression.
