Did you know Denver’s Mayor Michael Hancock opposed Amendment 64, the ballot initiative that ultimately brought cannabis legality to Colorado? And has since created $76 million in tax revenue for the state?

Well he did, and in fact, his stance has not necessarily changed.

But how is that possible, given the state’s success in pioneering progressive policy and the obvious benefit legal marijuana has had on their economy? Mayor Hancock has the answer.
