Lil Wayne and Rich The Kid have something in the works, and we’re more than excited to crash our speakers with their forthcoming collaboration, ‘Trust Fund Babies.’
On Thursday, both rappers announced that the collaborative album would be released in a few days while also showcasing the cover artwork and release date across social media.
“Me & @liltunechi album Trust Fund Babies dropping Oct 1st,” wrote Rich The Kid on an Instagram post about the upcoming record.
The album’s artwork displays animated versions of Lil Wayne and Rich The Kid, happily sleeping on a bed of money with their arms crossed. Tunechi is seen with sunglasses and sketched versions of his signature face tattoos while Rich sits in his sleek gold framed shades.
Rich The Kid’s album was initially teased during the most recent episode of DJ Akademiks’ podcast Off The Record, where Akademiks told fans to “expect a new body of work very, very soon from the Atlanta-based rapper.” Even better, the new record will feature the goat, Lil Wayne.
