A group of potheads dubbed the “Marijuana Moms” indulge in cannabis to help relax or cope with chronic pain.
According to Orange News UK, the group regularly meets for luxury dinners where cannabis is the focal point. They’re known for whipping up a killer cannabis leaf salad alongside greasy cannabis oil fried chicken and tasty marijuana milkshakes.
“We’ve all come up against people who say marijuana is for dirty druggies, but we are proof you can be good parents and productive members of society and use it,” says Cheryl Shuman, a 53-year-old mother of two. She also mentioned that the group’s mission is to demonstrate that smoking marijuana has made them better parents and wives.
In another case, Simmi Dhillon, 40, said that cannabis saved her 14-year marriage with her police officer husband. She explained that a severe car accident in 2003 left her with chronic pain and relying on prescription pain killers.
“When I found medical marijuana, my life turned around,” she explained to HuffPost UK. “I was 37, and I tried a joint my friend was smoking. For the first time in years, I felt human. I was able to be the wife I wanted to be once again, and it saved our marriage.”
“Now I can talk to my 10-year-old son about drugs and be completely honest about it. Before, I was like a zombie on prescription medication; now he’s got his mom back.”
This study demonstrates undeniable evidence that cannabis aids those struggling with depression.
