Yesterday, cannabis lifestyle company Perfect Union announced its new CEO, Denyelle Bruno, who will lead the enterprise to new heights in the ever-evolving cannabis industry, noted BusinessWire.

Bruno has secured leadership positions of all kinds within the cannabis industry and other leading markets. These include Peet’s Coffee & Tea and Drybar, where she acted as president of retail and helped build one of the leading brands in the beauty industry. Switching gears, she was also part of the seven-member team who created Apple’s retail experience while personally opening the first-ever Apple store back in 2001.

Impressively, Bruno also served as CEO of Tender Greens, where she reconstructed the farm-to-fork restaurant chain and prepared it for national recognition. Due to her success with Tender Greens, Bruno was awarded 2020 CEO of the Year by the Los Angeles Business Journal alongside other leadership awards.

“Perfect Union is California’s largest wholly-owned cannabis company,” Bruno said to BusinessWire. “I’m excited for the opportunity to lead one of the few cannabis companies in the nation that has already been able to scale $100 million in revenue run rate with 100% year-over-year growth and positive EBITDA. I look forward to taking this well-run business to the next level.”

Former CEO David Spradlin will now act as Perfect Union’s president and focus on acquisitions, product development, and strategizing ways to keep Perfect Union as California’s number one cannabis company.

“Our goal has always been to earn the trust of our medical and adult-use customers by bringing them quality products and investing in the communities we serve,” Spradlin said to BusinessWire. “This focus has led to tremendous growth and the need to bring in a truly experienced business builder. I am thrilled that Denyelle will join as CEO and my partner in building a world-class team and taking this company to new heights.”
