TikTok stars and influencers seem to broaden their horizons and push their careers into other mediums. More recently, TikTok’s Addison Rae landed a massive multi-picture deal with Netflix after the critically acclaimed “He’s All That,” a 2021 remake of “She’s All That,” starring Rae.
Netflix’s recent deal consists of various projects explicitly designed for Rae to star in and executive produce. The entertainment streaming platform projected that “He’s All That” will land in more than 55 million households in its first month.
Although the show has seen vast success, critics have given it mixed reviews. With plenty of positive comments praising the remake and its impact, others feel that it fell short of the original and dismissed Rae’s role and character development.
Besides the reviews, Netflix’s family film director Naketha Mattocks believes Rae’s “promise is undeniable as evidenced by ‘He’s All That’ and her already passionate fanbase.”
Most of Rae’s 84 million followers will want to witness her latest moves and endeavors, especially being on Netflix in what’s supposed to be a somewhat iconic remake of the original “She’s All That.” Nonetheless, be prepared to see Addison Rae across your Netflix feeds sooner than later.
