A bit underwhelmed. maybe I am doing something wrong?
Everyone is saying that they get better effects from this than using a water tool, but I cant achieve the same level with the same amount of herb. Everything else is good though! :)
Great while it lasted
Great vape while it lasted mine mightve been a lemon?
Always kept it under *** but mine stopped working reccently not sure if its a build quality thing? I carefully followed cleaning instructions
Better than I thought at first but still not great
It's not bad, but at first, I thought it was. I can get it to get me where I want to be now but I don't get the biggest clouds or sensation that I've taken a draw after the first hit, a lot of the time.
Device now defective
Bought about 6 months ago and really liked it until it became defective about 1 month ago. The display has developed lines across it and becomes extremely dim and the oven doesn't appear to be heating as much as it had. Have tried to contact POTV support throught their contact form as well as via email with a video of the issue and have not had any response. With all the vape retailers out there, I chose POTV based on all the great reviews for the device and service support, but no response whatsoever in over 3 weeks since completing the warranty contact form is highly disappointing
Terrible battery
The unit is great and one of the batteries is ok, but the other battery lasts 2, 6 minute sessions.
Looks great; doesn't do what I'm looking for
Love the look and size of the POTV V3, but unfortunately my unit wasn't producing enough vapor. Reached out to customer service + Miguel has been great help. Looking forward to finding the right tool for what I'm looking for!
Average. Nothing great.
Vapour quality can be much better honestly
Not the happiest camper
The vape itself is completely awesome. I love it. However, I accidentally got the vape itself wet and I tried to message support only to be told that they are sorry I broke my glass and I’m out of luck I guess. It’s sucks because I thought it was under a 1 year warranty. So upset that I’m out 100$ and used the vape less than a month and a half 😢. I tried to explain to the customer support that there is no glass at all that I purchased a vape so hopefully I can get some help to sort this out. Not having a vape now after exclusively using the v3 completely sucks… will update review as issue progresses
Can't take the heat
I like the unit but it makes me cough for 10 minutes and just burns my lungs. It's good unit, just not for me (Vaping).
Excellent for the price but still has issues
I really like the V3 Pro and was using it as a daily driver until one of the magnets in the lid came loose. Now I can't get suction because of the gap and, no matter how I put it back in, the magnetic just pops out when attached to the unit (the magnets are pretty powerful tbf). I was going to try an adhesive but thought that would be unwise.
All my issues with the product seem to lie in the mouthpiece, which I presume is the "cheapest" part. Hopefully, this is helpful to POTV/Xmax and any users.
- The ceramic airflow box is easy to damage if you really want to clean it properly. Unfortunately, the channel wall in the airflow box is quite brittle and the brush alone doesn't cut it so you have to use something firmer to remove build-up. Be careful with any tools, don't be forceful. If you clean often enough (I recommend the entire mouthpiece weekly with *water and soap) you shouldn't have to remove a lot of thick/coarse residue. If you break the wall I would just replace the whole box as it affects the airflow and increases build-up.
- The silicon holder warps quite quickly causing the metal filter to fall out sometimes. The filter can be VERY hot so be careful if you have this issue, I burned my hand the first time.
- The USB-C port became loose very quickly. You can fidget around with it to get it charging but it is a major hassle and basically started within the first month.
*Water and soap are usually suggested over alcohol (ISO/Isopropyl/Rubbing/etc), especially with plastic. Many people disagree and say to use Isopropyl so it's best to do your own research and make an informed decision.
PS Clean your devices! Whether it's a $5 one-hitter or a $700 desktop vaporizer clean it regularly. Build-up makes your device less effective, negatively impacts the quality of the flavour, and creates a problem you will eventually have to fix with intense cleaning or more money. Don't complain about a product that became unusable because you never cleaned it.
