Feels like it's falling apart
This vape is good. It hits nice and is easy to use. POTV One accessories fit it (including dosing caps!) I love the on-demand feature and USB-c charging. However, the magnets are a terrible idea. The battery plate comes off way too easily. The accessories attachment jiggles around and will push back when you take a hit(attached example photos). It will also come off when you want to change out the mouthpieces. It should just be a clip-on like the original POTV one was.

Not for me
I ordered this based on lots of positive feedback I'd seen online. Maybe I received a defective unit, but it was disappointing from the get-go. The battery cover was loose, constantly rattled, and felt like it was going to fall off. I read online that some people are putting electrical tape on the battery covers, so they stay on but I don't think I should have to tape up a brand-new vape. The whole unit just felt sorta cheap and poor quality, which isn't what I want in a vape I plan on taking outside and being rougher with. I did 5 or 6 burnoff cycles but a plasticy smell remained and the vapor also tasted like plastic. Maybe this is OK for some but it turned me off. The form factor is also odd because it's thin but long, which makes it tough to fit into a pocket or smaller bag. I'm giving it 2 stars because it technically does what's advertised, and the on-demand mode is a neat feature, although too fiddly for me to bother with. I exchanged the Xmax for a POTV One, which I'm very happy with. Props to POTV's excellent return/exchange policy and customer service.

Almost Decent, but Frustrating Overall
As a vape, this thing is ok. The controls, screen, shape, etc are all nice. Vapor is quite weak imo, but not awful. However the thing that makes me regret buying it is the USB-C charging. This was the main reason I chose this vape over other better options. However what I found is that it doesn’t charge with ANY cable that I have (tried like 5+ different ones), except for the one that came in the box. And it’s not even a good cable - only a foot long, and has usb-a on one end! Such a shame, I was excited to replace one more micro-usb device with usb-c, but this is even worse than micro-usb. Would not recommend this vape.

Upsetting Customer Service!!!
POTV, from which I have ordered hundreds of dollars worth of merchandise, seems unwilling to replace a XMAX V3 Pro which I did not receive. I ordered a XMAX V3Pro which was supposed to be delivered in my mailbox two days ago but I did not receive it. POTV, which I thought was supposed to have good customer service, emailed and said that I should check with neighbors or get delivery GPS coordinates. The GPS coordinates coincide with the neighborhood mailboxes of 200+ people so that doesn’t help. My neighbors do not have it. I’m apparently out $100+. BE AWARE that if you don’t receive an item, POTV won’t replace it, even for a great customer. I am HUGELY DISAPPOINTED to say the least. Order at your own risk!!

I listened to the hype...
This was my first purchase from POTV and I was impressed with how quickly I received Xmax. I bought this as a better option than the Mighty plus, for portable use with the bonus of 18650 batteries. This thing takes forever to reach the temp you set. I have to set the temp to 390f and wait around 2 min before I get a draw that actually produces vapor (only when I close off or restrict the side air vents). The unit itself is cheap, easy to use and clean, has solid battery life and replacement parts are readily available. I think this device has a use, but it takes way too long to get a decent pull. This one is going to be sitting on the shelf and used as a backup if my Mighty plus fails. Wanted to like it, but it just falls short of a quality experience.

My first Xmax. Also my last.
I had **** hopes for this vape. I was lured in by the fast heat time, the pass-through USB-c charging, and the ability to change batteries. But, right out of the box I noticed the rattling noise it made when I picked it up or shook it. I sent a question off to Customer Service about it, and while I waited for a reply I determined the sound was coming from the buttons, which are loose in the housing and flop around when I handle the unit. Customer Service then replied to my inquiry, saying that the rattling buttons are normal. Well, one person's normal is another's poor build quality. Then there's the battery cover. It is held on only by magnets, and mine doesn't fit tight. It has a couple of mms of play side-to-side, so when using the unit the battery cover slides around and makes clacking sounds. Add that to the loose rattling buttons and the whole thing feels to me like it's going to come apart at any moment. On the plus side, it does fit well in the pocket and if you cover up most of the draw holes you can get a decently thick tasty hit, even at half-bake temps. It can go for several uses without mouthpiece clogging. Battery life is good. I ended up putting scotch tape over the buttons to stop the rattle, and taped down the battery cover to stop the movement and noise. The unit feels more solid now, but with all the tape my shiny brand new vape now looks like something I fished out of the trash. I had hoped this would be my new EDC vape for some time to come, but now I'm certain it will end up rusting in the junk drawer next to my Atmos Ruva and Airvape X as soon as I can find something comparable to replace it. Bottom line: If you want something that feels solid and of good quality in your hand, avoid this one. If you don't mind rattly buttons end loose battery covers (or a taped-up new vape) then this may be closer to a 4-star vape for you.

Broke before first use
Terrible experience with this vaporizer. I attempted to take it apart to clean before I used it, and it was assembled so tightly from the factory this was impossible. The rubber gasket tore and made the device unusable. Even if fully functional this device is unnecessarily difficult to disassemble to clean and maintain.

Amazing vaporizer but….
This is an amazing vaporizer and works extremely well. The bottom of my oven recently fell out and when I inquired about a warranty replacement, I was asked if I had dropped it. I was honest and said yes, it’s been dropped. NO WARRANTY! THE VERY FIRST TIME YOU **** IT, THE WARRANTY IS VOID. I CANNOT IMAGINE ANYONE WHO WOULD NEVER **** SOMETHING. IT HAPPENS, BUT IT VOIDS YOUR WARRANTY.

Doesn't work
It arrived very quickly and came with a free stash jar that works wonderfully, however, no vapor is produced, and it burns the dry herb inside. I have watched every tutorial on this specific model and have attempted priming several times at all temps. I wasted so much herb trying to make this work for me. A total letdown! No vapor is produced it just kind of tastes like corn chips when I attempt to hit it. Very disappointed, but hopefully, others will have better experiences. I'll just stick to my pipe for now.
