POTV XMAX V3 Pro Vaporizer

I received this quickly. Good job on that. In the past I have had great service and products from POTV, but not this time and the service too but let's talk about this vape... I opened the battery door to remove the safety plastic insert on the battery. Printed on the battery it says NOT FOR VAPE! FIRE HAZARD! Interesting.. and not a wonderful start. I emailed support and POTV Mike told me not to worry about it as they means VAPE like nicotine at a higher temperature. OK, so a total leap of faith time.... Why did I do that!!!!! It clearly says NOT FOR VAPE! Ok so I then try the device and I there is no vapor at 365 degrees. I usually start about there and then increase as the vapor stops. This way you get some nice flavor too. I get nothing. I slowly increase the temp all the way up and still nothing but it is getting warm/hot for sure. I start it again and now I am getting vapor. The next time I just started with it cranked all the way up to 428 and did not get vapor until roughly the 3 to 3.5 minute mark. Then I restart it and it is hot enough to produce vapor. It "seems" to heat almost instantly but you have to wonder if that display is not real as it takes 3-4 minutes to get vapor... wow... So I emailed POTV as clearly something is very wrong. Support person "Mike" tells me he has one and this is completely normal. Hey Mike, I have at least 8 vapes and all produce vapor within 1 minute on similar ones, not 3 or 4 minutes later. I have your original ONE and compared it side to side as they even take the same inserts. I tested them side by side. The ONE gets vapor in about 30 seconds, not 3 to 4 minutes! I am quoting from their spec sheet: "Tasty vapor in under 30 seconds" That is not true, at least with my unit. So since this is supposedly normal I asked to return it. Mike says..We are going to charge you $10 to return it. Unbelievably bad customer service, and I am beyond shocked as I truly thought POTV were the good guys in this arena. You do not charge someone for a defective unit. Come one POTV. POTV and Mike if you read this stuff, You should clearly REFUND IN FULL. From you specs: Tasty vapor in under 30 seconds This does not happen. The battery says all kinds of scary stuff on it like specifically: Fire HAZARD! NOT FOR VAPE! NEVER INSTALL< CARRY OR HANDLE! Wow...

Was really looking forward to this vape as I love to idea of the capsule, but they are small, and I wish the lids didn’t open as easily. Would recommend sticking with the Starry V2.

After everything I heard about this vape, I decided to pull the trigger. I am however very disappointed. The battery cover appears to be magnetic and it's very loose and rattles and moves around quite a bit. I purchased separate dosing capsules that were labeled to go with this device specifically, and they don't look like the dosing capsules that came with it and the lids don't even stay on. Pretty big disappointment. Either I got defective items or this is just how it is. Either way I plan on returning.

It worked great for about a month then just stopped working. Keep getting an message that reads, “sensor error.” Apparently, I am not the only one this has happened to. After some internet digging I found out that this is a common problem with the XMax V3 Pro vape. It’s not something that can be remedied by user and must be returned to company for “repairs”. Kind of disappointing after only 1 month of occasional use (1-2 times a week).

It will not get hot enough for concentrates despite what it says. Session mode doesn't really work and you can only vape ****** at the highest temperature setting. I'm sending it back immediately

are you able to use a concentrate pad on this device?

I'm enjoying the V3 as my first vape. But I'm puzzled about maintenance. Like Thomas and Shawn said here a year ago (see excerpts below), I don't find any instructions for how to install the extra screens, and how to take apart the mouthpiece to clean inside. If Larry has a video on how to dissemble the mouthpiece, why not post it on the product page so every customer can benefit? Love my XMax V3 Pro, but I have the og version. In the new POTV version, I read "40% more battery life than the original version." Is that in 'battery' or 'hardware'? Am I missing something by using the og V3 Pro? BTW, I love my V3 Pro, my POTV One, my LOBO plus the S&B vapes you all have sold me. And I love your customer service dept. Larry is the greatest, next to Jerry. LOL

The screen just went completely blank after only a few months of use. Literally have only cleaned it twice. I watched the screen progressively get worse until it finally died so it feels like a product issue. Have there been any other complaints of this? Really wishing I bought a different vape. Don't get me wrong I love the vape, but it is unusable without the screen.
