These four ladies are changing the way weed moms are perceived.
If there’s something the cannabis industry needs more of, it’s proud marijuana-consuming moms who remain open about why they use the plant while fighting for destigmatization. We‘ve listed out four of our favorite weed moms and social media influencers who continue breaking society’s norms and informing followers that it’s more than okay to smoke weed as a mother.

The one and only Blunt Blowin’ Mama is former editor for ABC News and HuffPost Shonitria Anthony. With a master’s degree in Journalism from Columbia University, Anthony decided enough was enough and stopped hiding her admiration for the cannabis plant. She created her Instagram account, @bluntblowinmama, in search of other women and moms who take their stress away with marijuana. The Los Angeles-based content creator continues normalizing mothers using cannabis through related workshops and her Blunt Blowin’ Mama merch line.
Los Angeles-based cannabis user with a background in culinary and hospitality, Rachel Burkons @smokesipsavor, strives to merge the three industries stated above to create a more educational and consumer-forward space. Burkons and her chef brother co-founded a culinary cannabis hospitality and events company, Altered Plates, and more recently, she spoke on a panel at SXSW about the importance of merging cannabis and hospitality.

For beginner cannabis users, especially women and seniors, Christina Cassidy-Forbrich @thecanncierge creates friendly and helpful content that helps familiarize newcomers with the many benefits of cannabis. Her virtual consultation services, forward-thinking posts, and events for weed moms (Women’s Weed Nights and Wee(d)kend Retreats in San Diego) prove that she’s one of the most dedicated and passionate advocates around.
Any mother using cannabis needs to follow the Vancouver-based influencer Caitlin Fladager @caitlinfladager. One of her core beliefs is to be open with her children and loved ones about her cannabis use, why she chooses to use it, and how it shouldn’t be stigmatized any longer. Fladager mostly posts reels with trending sounds, bringing us into her personal life as well as promoting the medical benefits of marijuana.
